If you like Hokusai you will enjoy and appreciate this beautiful museum. I came here especially to see the museum and it was worth it. Very interesting and inspiring and a great video introduction about Hokusai's life and artwork. It was also really nice to visit this small town, beautiful place.

It is a bit of a walk from the center of Obuse through some interesting wineries. It’s very rugged and the path up the mountain is made with old stones, not concrete. Interestingly there is a slack line course next door. I was glad I’d made the walk out there after I made it.
