The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

Exploration art wonderland for children by day, alluring chill-out art jamming spot by night. People walk into our tiny secret art studio as strangers but leave as friends. With passion and patience, our art jamming sessions are able to connect people from all walks of life. It was heartwarming to see our regular art jammer guiding a newcomer. We all have our own story, and we can write one together.
I did marbling during an art jamming session, the teacher was very friendly and helpful and the session was really fun!

It was a fun way to learn Thai Cooking! The tour was thoughtfully curated, well-executed and kindly narrated by Chef Alice. Enjoyed ourselves and learnt useful information in the span of 3 hours! The tour started with a mini 1 hour walk/tour around the Beach Road area, grocery shopping at Golden Mile Thai Supermarket, and we got to enjoy snacks/fritters purchased from a kiosk there. This was followed by a 2-hour hands on cooking session back at the shop. The dishes were really delicious, healthy and should be simple to replicate at home. We cooked up tom yum soup, mango salad and a Thai dessert. Felt so accomplished at the end of class! We were also given a momento of a digital photo and the recipes of the dishes we had cooked. Highly recommended experience!

I attended the watercolour class with teacher Raymond. It was pretty chill session, and he is very detailed in sharing the skills, demonstrating to us the techniques to paint. I have a good experience there, and would recommend you to head down too if you are looking at places to take a break from your busy life and learn new skills.

While googling things to do for a birthday celebration, I came across this workshop. We did the Home Apothecary Workshop making the Soul Good Vapour Rub. Learnt interesting stuff about the plants from Cath. Love the hands on experience with smelling and touching the plants. For such a personalised experience, it's worth the cost. Cath's amazing and patient answering our questions. Suitable for celebrations with friends. Would definitely come again and try the other options. Opt for their tea and homemade cake and have it at their tree house. Since we can't really travel, good to rediscover Singapore and recharge in nature with The Plant Story.
