This highway goes from Kailua-Kona to Hilo on Hawaii's "Big Island."
This is THE road that goes around the Big Island. What it most incredible about this island compared to the others besides the sheer size is the number of climates and landscapes that you can experience in a single day on a single road. There are lava fields, volcanic steam vents, dense forests, rainforests, towns of a homes, the only two major towns on the island, waterfalls, etc etc. You will not be disappointed if you drive this loop!
