Coffee drinkers will recognize Kona as the source of some of the best beans in the world. Get your blood pumping with a walk along the “Royal Footsteps” waterfront stretch of Alii Drive, or take stargazing to the next level with a nighttime visit to the summit of Mauna Kea. Waterfalls, volcanoes, and soft black sands are just some of the natural features that make Kailua unique. Shimmy your hips at a hula-filled luau, or get an eyeful of native history at the Kamakahonu compound.

This has moved to the Queens Marketplace in Waikoloa, and the information on trip advisor needs to be updated. I suspect prices may be up as a result of the location but there is no question as to the quality of the images. Beautiful.

Professional Henna Studio & Boutique located in Historic Downtown Kailua Kona, Hawaii. The Original Henna Studio in Hawaii, and the longest running Henna Studio in the USA! We've been providing Professional Henna Body Art for over 16 years! Open 7 days a week!
Best place in the islands to get a Henna Tattoo! The artists are so talented, and their Henna blend is professional grade and lasts a long time. Great place for family and friends to bring a small momento of Hawaii back home with them!.

Incredible floral creations that look so realistic you’ll bend over to sniff them! Nana’s has a large variety of clay creations in many price points that are very reasonable for the artistry. Don’t miss it while you are on Ali Drive.

Enjoyable time was spent here looking at the large art, most all ocean themes. I, along with my wife, was impressed by the size of the paintings and the sculptures, as well as the quality. I would say this is a definite stop in Kona if you have any interest at all in art. Adding to our enjoyment was looking through the books of the artists that are available to page through while you are there. Since a rainstorm came through while we were there we spent more time looking at speaking with the hostess. She was very pleasant and gave us much background to the art and the artists. Very enjoyable time

Artist Katana Leigh hosts an open studio where you can browse original paintings featuring Angels, Fairies, Mermaids, and Goddesses all with a tropical feeling. Nature and palm trees feature strongly in her work.
