Easy walk from Dubulti railway station, free entry, beautifully restored, very nice staff. Some translations of Azpazija's work available in several languages. Good touchscreen info in the room behind the reception, too. Park your bicycles in the yard, though, inside the white fence.

Livu Akvaparks CLOSED due Covid-19. Livu Akvaparks is one of the largest water parks in Northern Europe. It is located in the resort town of Jurmala and is open all year round. The total area of the water park is 18,000 m2. The spacious premises and summer outdoor beach are home for several attractions unique in Europe. Livu Akvaparks is a popular holiday destination for families and tourists in the Baltics. Livu Akvaparks is functionally divided into four zones: active entertainment on the slides, slow family recreation, a SPA complex and an open-air summer beach. In total, the water park features more than 20 different slides, 10 swimming pools and many other attractions. On the territory of entertainment there is a bistro Zambezy, which offers hearty meal, and a bar in the SPA complex for enjoying delicious drinks right in the pool. In summer, an outdoor cafe with a spacious terrace on the river bank opens its doors. Livu Akvaparks – enjoy it!

This is a corker with some really good exhibits showing how the beach hasn't changed that much even if the political background has over the years.
