Great, nice, informative staff. Very reasonable prices. E-bikes were great. We spent 10 days in Switzerland and the day we rented the E-bikes was the highlight of our trip! 10/10 would recommend!

We would like to say a great thank you to Waldo from the team. He has taken a great deal of time making sure our daughters boots fit perfectly. He has shown excellent of customer care, and expertise. I can’t recommend him enough, thank you. The shop is great in the middle of the village, it sells all you need to ski, has large boot, ski storage zone and is well stoked.

The Swiss Ski & Snowboard School Kleine Scheidegg has welcomed guests since 1935 from all over the world who have enjoyed our unique mountain scenery at the foot of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau! Our instructors teach with passion, patience and personal commitment while having fun and are looking forward to welcome you!
My boyfriend and I booked a 3 hour session with coach Fabi. It was our first time and Fabi made it the best experience! She was very patient, fun and reassuring, we picked up the basics of snowboarding pretty quickly with her teaching. Definitely recommend it for new-goers or someone who is looking to have a great time.

We stayed in the village of Isenfluh and took the cable car/gondola up to Sulwald twice. One time, we decided to take the Monster Scooters back down. What great fun! Only €17 per person and the ride can be as quick or leisurely as you like. We stopped to watch waterfalls, admire rolling hills, and photograph the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau peaks. Start at the restaurant in Sulwald where the cable car stops. Pick out your scooter and helmet and you’re off! (You pay when you return the scooter to the cable car ticket booth in Isenfluh.) The first part of the paved road is flat, but once you get to the downhill part you pick up speed and cruise effortlessly. The handbreaks help control your speed. There are guides/tours out of nearby towns who offer Monster Scooter outings, but if you can get to Isenfluh or Sulwald this is an easy activity to do on your own. Regardless, it’s a great activity for adults and families!

OVER 20 years of passion and experience. Since our opening in 2001, we have been passionate about running the backdoor shop in the heart of Grindelwald (Jungfrauregion). Our team consists of dedicated snowboarders, skiers, bikers and runners and when we’re not in the shop, you’ll find us out on the mountain practising our craft. All brands and products that we carry have been tested by our team on the mountain, and we know them inside and out. It is important to us that we offer our customers only the very best products and service. Thanks to our years of experience, we know what each individual needs, and can help find the right product for you. As ‘locals’, we always like to share insider tips about the best ski tour, most beautiful powder slope, smoothest bike or e-bike trail or most promising trail running route.
