Johor Bahru is the second-largest city in Malaysia and, with the opening of two major amusement parks in 2012, it is poised to become a major tourist destination. TripAdvisor travelers also recommend visiting the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, a unique Hindu temple decorated with brilliant glass mosaics.

My Wife and I recently visited Singapore and were expecting to visit Malaysia, albeit briefly. The first tour we looked at was rejected after some time. The second tour was accepted less than one week from our tour. Travel delightfully accepted our original request and we happily travelled expecting to do this tour. We waited at out hotel for a few hours and then spent money travelling by Taxi to the address listed in the website to try and access the tour as advised to do so by our hotel. Travel Delightfully did not respond to many many telephone calls by me, my wife, the hotel and the security guard at the address listed on their website over a span of many hours.
Malacca is a UNESCO World Heritage Site just hours away from Singapore, but visiting on a regular tour can mean standing-in-line for an extended time at the notoriously busy Singapore-Malaysia border. This day tour includes the usage of the drive-through lane at the border, round-trip transport between Singapore and Malacca, a fully-guided tour of historical Malacca, admission tickets to the scenic Malacca River Cruise, free sampling of the Malacca-famous Durian Cendol dessert, plus plenty of free time to take in the sights that interest you most.
Inclusions: Guaranteed drive-through lane usage at the border (no standing-in-line), Round-trip transport between Singapore and Malacca (sedan/minivan/coach - depending on group size), Fully-guided tour of historical Malacca, Scenic river cruise inside UNESCO Malacca, All taxes, fees and handling charges, Refreshing bowl of Malacca-famous Durian Cendol dessert
Exclusions: Gratuities, Food and drinks, Hotel pickup and drop-off
Part of my bias is likely due to the rain. It was a good tour, but obviously some of the out door stuff was a bit problematic. So be careful of this during the rainy season. Lunch was delicious and the massage was great, as was out tour guide. I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a day away from Singapore.
