Red brick and stone facades, an underground aqueduct, original maple hardwood floors, and an exposed rock wall at the base of the mountain all lend a distinct architectural ambiance to the complex, which throughout its history has been a place for innovation and fabrication using the most innovative technology of the day. Often compared to Dr. Suess, Salvador Dali, and M.C. Escher, Stabin's work is a world unto its own that defies description. His work is an homage to the arc of art history from the influences of centuries-old Japanese watercolor print artists to contemporary graphic arts. His work is inspired by many facets of his own life including his family, an interest in the connection between man and nature, water and the water’s edge. Don't miss the Children's Gallery, Projection Room, Victor's Turtle Series and Cafe Arielle. a restaurant/bar with an underground stream visible from the dining room as well as a stunning outdoor patio - The Avant Garden. True fun for all ages!
This is next door to Stabin's new restaurant. Go early, browse this great art space and have Victor sign a book for you. See some very unique art and then grab an awesome meal!

Art takes many forms® at this artist's studio and gallery nestled in the historic west end of Jim Thorpe, PA. Studio YNW offers a unique aesthetic experience in a variety of artistic mediums, from paintings and drawings to digital media, created by artist-in-residence Yvonne Wright, whose visualizations often draw on the legacy of Surrealism, where fantasy and pastiche play an integral part.

Maria Lloyd is a gift to this town. She makes the most incredible items - and I who was addicted to cheap shoes - wear and toss them - have been converted. I now own FOUR pairs of boots or shoes and love each and every pair. I get compliments all of the time but most important for me - her shoes are incredibly comfortable. I have several foot/hip issues and as a result, finding good shoes and boots that I can wear without being in pain is nothing short of a miracle. The black and red boots in the picture I've worn hard for the past year. The flats and 'sneakers' are new from last trip. I wore the flats out for the first time a few days ago and had people stopping me asking where I bought them. They are so dang cute.

to be fair I guess that you'd have to say that you would have to be interested in this type of merchandise to really appreciate the store. but if you are into witchy, a cult, New age items then this store is a definite must go to. They have wonderful collections of items for yourself or your home or for a great gift. The best shop that I have been into in years. I went back 2 * and shaft and spent more money there that I spent anywhere else in the area. And I definitely plan on going back. The best shop in the area. The five-and-dime next door was a lot of fun to with some great prices and gifts for my nephew's. But definitely don't skip the shop if you come into the area.

Serving the community since 2008. Eclectic selection of gently used books, fiction and nonfiction, friendly service, new arrivals weekly!
In every town I visit I make a point of seeking out small independent bookstores. This place has a wonderful selection of clean, used books. I spied their SYFY section and texted my daughter. 'Anything you looking for these days?". She proceeded to list off authors and titles. The owner/manager - who obviously was familiar with his stock began pulling books off the shelf. The biggest issue there was 'no service' in the shop, so I had to keep leaving the store, walk to the nearby corner, send a text and come back with do you have this? I ended up buying about a half dozen books. Great selection. Knowledgeable and friendly (plus patient!) owner.
