Project 52 is an Orwellian-inspired drinking establishment that extends a warm welcome to those with nostalgia in their hearts and a couple of quid in their pockets. A haven of intelligent chat and puerile laughter, where craft beers slosh cheerily next to fine wines and perfectly-formed,the carpets are artfully worn, the furniture is just distressed enough to be chic yet comfortable.
A dark little lane in the heart of St Helier. Hidden behind a door with buzzer entry, you find yourself in a den of amazingness with simply the most incredible hosts and drinks to die for....good work you guys X

La Mare Wine Estate and Distillery is a unique venue situated in the beautiful Jersey countryside. Set in the peaceful grounds of a traditional 18th-century granite farmhouse, this 25-acre working estate is committed to creating the very best wines, ciders and spirits, along with hand-made preserves, fudge, chocolates and Jersey Black Butter. Unique to the island, La Mare is the perfect location to spend the day. The Vineyard Restaurant is currently open Wednesday - Sunday. Please find our opening hours at lamarewineestate.com
Following an informative tour around the premises we sat in a hall and, between short films about the working of the vineyard and orchards, tasted three types of wine and liqueur with chocolate. absolutely scrummy. the staff were incredibly friendly and very patient with some of a large group who were rude - talking over the film and snapping at the staff when offered tastings. we had a pleasant walk around the vines etc and had a lovely tapas like lunch in the restaurant. overall, a fantastic day out

One of the main reasons we come to Jersey is for the quality of fish and shell fish. The shame is we stay in a hotel and not a flat so can't buy any to cook. Don't thing Easyjet will be very happy with smelly hand luggage. The variety and quality is amazing. The staff at the stalls were very friendly and quite happy to pose for photos and discuss the various fish on show.
