Splash your way through a full day of LEGO® themed family fun at the only water park in the region designed specifically for families with children 2-12. Over 15 water slides including family raft, body and tube slides LEGO® Wave Pool Build-A-Raft-River where you can build your own custom LEGO raft DUPLO® toddler play area and slides designed especially for the smaller ones
We all really enjoyed this park. As we were staying at Lapita access to the park was included in our stay. We visited the waterpark twice during our 4 night stay at Lapita. We spent just over 4 hours the first time and a couple of hours the second time. As soon as we entered the staff was standing there with 50% off offers on cabanas which included a private curtained area with two sofas and sunbeds, a fridge, safe, 4 towels and bottles of water or soft drinks. We decided to go for it as it was good value for us. On our second visit we didn’t rent the cabana but there were plenty of sunbeds in a massive shaded area which were free to use. Rides: The lazy river is nice with rings to which you can attach lego pieces however there are very few rings available and we could only find one for our son. The rest of us had to walk through the entire lazy river with him. Wasn’t very lazy for us I guess. Slides: The slides are all lovely and my son who is just under 120 cm could go on most slides. They were all fun and enjoyed by him and by us as well. The wave pool is decent as well. There were plenty of life jackets for use in the wave pool if needed and plenty of lifeguards around too. Facilities: Changing rooms are decent with each changing room having a wet (shower area) and dry area which was quite useful. However, the common area didn’t have any hair dryers which I found a bit odd. Lockers are not free and quiet steep priced. Food: We didn’t eat in the park so can’t comment but if you are doing park hopping like us there are more and better food options in the common Riverland area that connects all the 4 theme parks together. That’s where we usually ate. I would recommend this park to families with young children. We have been to Atlantis waterpark several times before and although it has a better lazy river with rapids etc. compared to Legoland waterpark I don’t think younger kids can go in many of the bigger slides there.

It will feature over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 LEGO® model structures made from over 60 million LEGO® bricks. LEGOLAND® Dubai will feature six themed lands - LEGO® CITY, ADVENTURE, KINDGOMS, IMAGINATION, FACTORY and MINILAND - each unique in their design, entertainment and playful learning experience.
My family first visited Legoland Dubai in 2018, my daughter was 8 years old at the time. We enjoyed ourselves so much that decided to get annual passes which we have had ever since and that we will be renewing AGAIN this year. Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful and cheerful, it really makes each visit so pleasant. We are very glad to see that they have strict precautions currently in place to make it safe for us to visit, sanitizing rides and enforcing mask-wearing for example. I definitely recommend a visit for a fun family day out. TIPS TO MAXIMISE ENJOYMENT - Do your research into the height restrictions on the different rides before you go. Even if your child is 0.5cm shorter, the staff CANNOT use their discretion and let them on because of rules and liability issues. The height restrictions are there for a reason, and it’s to keep your child safe. If they bend the rules and get found out or even worse, your child gets injured, the people responsible will face serious repercussions. - Compare the rides to your child’s / children’s personalities. If your child is a complete daredevil / thrillseeker, then they might find the rides tame. This has nothing to do with age - my daughter and one of her best friends had a FANTASTIC time earlier this month and they’re both 10 years old now. In contrast, a couple of years ago, another one of her best friends was already a little bored with the rides at 8 years old! My wife and I actually sometimes go even when we don’t have my daughter with us as we enjoy competing against each other in the Lost Kingdom Adventure to see who can get a higher score in ‘shooting’ the targets. We sometimes go 3-5 rounds in a row if it’s not crowded. - Look out for the seasonal events like Christmas where they have festive activities. The wonderful people at Legoland Dubai go through a lot of effort to make these activities engaging and fun, and they succeed in doing so. My daughter enjoyed it so much last year (2020) that we actually went 3 times in 5 days and stayed at least 6 hours each time just so she could do all the festive activities again and again. The attached photos were taken during the Christmas 2020 activities.

We were lucky enough to get our park tickets as part of our holiday booked through Emirates. It was open 1400-2200 on the day we visited, which was a blisteringly hot Tuesday in July. An electronic buggy took us from the main drop off directly to the gate of the park, which was handy and saved us walking in the heat. The park was wonderful and to our benefit, near empty! We spent the whole day there, going on some rides over and over again. I suspect in the cooler weather and at weekends, it would be packed but we barely queued for anything. The park was a perfect choice for our family of 5 with kids aged 19, 16 and 13. Like everything in UAE, it was efficient, spotless, great fun and there was such an attention to detail everywhere. We had differing opinons on the best ride - I loved the Kung Fu Panda 3D ride, son loved the Dragon Glider roller coaster, one daughter loved the Hunger Games bullet train the other enjoyed the Hotel Transylvania ride and husband thought the Madagascar mad pursuit was brilliant! We got the chance to watch the Step Up show too - well done to all the dancers who also danced outside in the street when the show wasn't on! We met Shrek, Fiona and Papa Smurf too!! The food was a little expensive for what it was but we took plenty of bottled water with us. Majority of the rides are inside and are air conditioned, so its only walking between the rides that is warm - even then there are fans all over the place. A really, really fun day out and we were all ready for home by the time it was dark. A shame we were too tired on the way out to have a good look around Riverland - which looked an amazing attraction all of its own! We will have to return!
