The Diwan-e-Khas is located within the City Palace compound and this was the place where the King used to grant audiences to other people. Now this place has a lot of stuff like paintings and wardrobes dating back to medieval period on display.

Our fab driver took us here first thing this morning so we could get a feel for Jaipur before visiting the more famous sights - and what a great suggestion it was ! So it’s a bit of a climb up (via more of a ramp / “flat steps” if you could call them that), but there are two small stopping points on the way up, so we found the ascend manageable and we’re not particularly fit. When we got to the top we were like “wowee”. You can see the whole city and get a really good perspective of beautiful enchanting Jaipur. What an intro!

This beautiful circle is named after the founder of the city Man Singh - a statue installed here . The round about of the busy traffic here is picturesque . The entire stretch f Janpath starting at Vidhan Sabha can be viewed here . The huge circle is dotted with seasonal flower throughout the year and encircled with green lawn . The fountains here are a delight . Close to the well known Birla auditorium , Central Park and Nehru planatorioum - it is an ideal place for a family outing . The locals and the non locals can be sitting on lawns in the evening wit families . No entree fee .best time is early morning / evenings .
