They even helped facilitate our Covid tests that were required before we left the country. Bona-fide lifesavers! Wi-fi is provided in all their buses and vans. Very convenient! Their drivers made us feel safe with their driving and we had no problems. Thank you for everything!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we traveled with a group of 10 friends. Los Suenos Transfers was a huge part of our trip, because of the size of our group. They picked us up at the airport and drove us to Los Suenos. The bus is very clean and they had refreshments for the ride. We stopped halfway for some food and drinks while we viewed huge crocodiles from the bridge. The excursion to Manuel Antonio was awesome!! Diego and his brother Albarro were very knowledgeable being local and very informative about Costa Rica. Diego stopped the bus and saved a sloth trying to cross the road! We used Los Suenos Transfers for many trips while in Costa Rica and always felt welcome with their warm and pleasant demeanor. They were always on time and got us where we needed to be. Many times they would stop and show us things about their beautiful country such as panoramic views to macaws, monkeys, sloths, and crocodiles. I highly recommend Los Suenos Transfers if you want to make your trip better. Thank you Diego and Albarro for making us feel like family. Pura Vida!!!

Carara stands out in its inclusion features, being the first National Park of Costa Rica with an universal trail. The Carara National Park, which in the Huetar indigenous language means “River of Crocodiles”, has the only transitional forest in the Central Pacific, which translates into diversity of flora and fauna, where species of dry and humid forests converge . This National Park is a world-renowned ornithological destination since it has a very diverse bird fauna, where the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao) stands out, a species that is in danger of extinction, being the second largest species of Psittacines in Costa Rica.
Inclusions: National Park fees, Bottled water, Tropical Fruit, Professional guide, Hotel pickup and drop-off

We had a private driver take us to Manuel Antonio National Park. Aside from the extreme heat that day it was a lovely trip. Be aware they only accept VISA and cash at the ticket booth, my Mastercard was not accepted. Prepare to walk including inclines, bring lots of water, sun protection, perhaps a bathing suit. I brought binoculars as the sloths in the trees are hard to spot. Guides with scopes were generous in letting us view the animals (sloths and Capuchin monkeys). Our highlight was the Manuel Antonio Beach down a steep hill, complete with monkeys in the trees. The ocean was warm, clean, however watch for a strong current. Boardwalks are designed to take you through beautiful mangrove areas. We heard Howler monkeys but did not see them. All in all don't miss this trip. We were happy that our experience was not rushed as we had a private driver - some park guides tend to rush you through. Amenities were modern: one kiosk with snacks, ice cream and souvenirs, restrooms.

I was in Costa Rica in January, now I have traveled to Colombia. I have waited several months but I cannot shake how HORRIBLE this tour was. We were supposed to have a tour bus but was instead packed into a sedan. At some point the tour guide was alluding to us going to a nicer restaurant and having us pay for his lunch because the office "did not send the money over" for the included meal. I have been on many tours before and many after but this one was easily the worst. Our tour guide was out taking pictures of his own on every site instead of actually guiding us. What took the cake was when we thought we were going to see a coffee plantation but instead he pulls over on the side of the road to a ditch to show us mounds of dirt that supposedly were growing coffee and he said he couldn't take us to an actual plantation because "The Nicaraguans are harder working and the Costa Rican youth are always on their phones now so it won't be worth it". We paid 100+ dollars EACH for a glorified taxi ride across the country. 0/10 don't recommend

Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most visited destinations of all Costa Rica national parks and reserves. With a very enjoyable weather throughout the year despite of some rain during the low season this charming yet small biological peninsula consists of several beaches, mangroves and coastal dry and humid forest. This protected area is very popular due to its wide variety of flora and fauna.
Inclusions: National Park fees, Bottled water, Lunch, Professional guide, Hotel pickup and drop-off

OK time in Carera. Though a transition zone... not the OMG amazing birding experience one gets from Monteverde or Sarapiqui or Rancho Naturalista. Very cool is that it is an ‘accessible’ park with trails paved for wheel chair access and interpretative signs in Braille. Guides wait for tourists out front. Choose wisely. Our guide, Maurice, who has many positive reviews was loud, throwing banana peels into the trees, and going off trail numerous times... not cool
