This 300 Acre Drive-Thru Safari Park features over 25 exotic species from around the world in an open range environment all from the comfort of your car !
So most important the staff are lovely! We actually got blocked by a herd on the trail and had to call the office for a suggestion as we didnt want to break the rules and go off trail. But thats what they told us to do!
It was around 50 dollars for three of us with extra food which I was glad we bought as the animals were hard to resist. Especially when my four year old niece is yelling to feed the babies! A lot of the animals run to the car so you have to drive carefully. They will stick their heads in the window if youre not quick enough especially the ostrich and zebras. Took us about two hours to go thru. The park is quite large. I thought we were almost done then saw a sign saying we were a quarter of the way thru. It is well worth the money. Again, drive carefully and enjoy a few laughs!

I absolutely love this place. I have very fond memories of going here when I was a youngster. Even though it has changed drastically, the scene is still as beautiful and breathtaking as I remember!! Great for picnics, pictures, visits and relaxing!

What a beautiful zip tour through the trees! Everyone was very friendly and very concerned about safety but they want you to have fun as well. They will even teach you how to go upside down if you want (which my boys ages 10 and a very close 13yr old) took advantage of many times. You fly over ponds and trees and must yell "woo hoo" over that line! Lol They also offer evening zips and parties as well. Mango the dog will guide you from zip line 8 if you choose to do them all. This was our first time zip lining and I think everyone had a good time. They are a bit off of the beaten trail but they will text you good directions. Go and have a good time. This is definitely fun for the whole family.

A lot more than just baskets! Lots of gardening items, cooking utensils, baskets, decorations, toys, jewelry, antiques etc. Nice craftsmanship.

The Vanishing Texana Museum has become a professional quality exhibit of former things from Jacksonville, Texas, and North Cherokee County, Texas. The curator is a historical researcher who is adding background knowledge about the exhibits on a daily basis. Two of the most important artifacts are connected to Sam Houston, and are worth the visit by themselves. The important local agricultural history of raising tomato crops are crucial to understanding the commerce of bygone days. The exhibits include many items made by the Caddo native Americans who lived here once upon a time. This museum is both educational and entertaining. School field trips are always welcome.

Handcrafted traditional archery bows (recurves and longbows only -- no compound bows). Three generations of Lees since 1951; founder is 2-time inductee into the Archery Halls of Fame. Recurve bow named Best Bow in the Nation against 12 industry leaders. Sales direct to the public.
Went and viewed their facility and had them make me a one off custom bow. They are overachievers and blew my expectations away. The bow turned out better than I could have ever imagined and everyone that sees it complements it. They even had custom arrows made to match my bow which is lime green, black and white!!!!!! The pictures on their website do not caption the entire beauty of their work. I’m sure this bow will outlast me.
