Although much of Jacksonville is urban, this sprawling northeastern Florida city also has nature and wildlife preserves, historic residential neighborhoods and lots of golf courses. Attractions in Jax, as the locals call it, range from art, science and history museums to a brewery tour, from the Jacksonville Landing entertainment complex, along the St. John's River, to Bronson Motor Speedway. The city's beaches offer soft sand and warm water perfect for swimming, surfing and kayaking.

This place was amazing. It's as good as any museum but you can buy these civil war artifacts, memorabilia, coins, weapons, documents, books, presidential items, newspapers, jewelry, and so much more. I've always been drawn to the drums and there were 2 great examples inside. We always travel by car (and it's fully packed) so we have no room for big items like the red drum that I wanted so badly. If you are interested in the Civil War, you must check it out.

I loved exploring this antique store! It seemed to never end, and there were so many interesting things to look at. I spent over two hours just looking around through the many booths, and it was such a pleasant time! The store staff were friendly and helpful, and most items were reasonably priced. I visited the store on a Saturday morning and it was, understandably, very busy with many people. The shop had something for everyone, from larger pieces of furniture to small nick-knacks, and is located in a nice area with a few other small shops and restaurants.
