Great lakeside beach with lovely lake for swimming or kayaking or pedaloing! We tried it all! Not crowded or touristy. Park in the car park or on the roaf under the trees right next to the beach and its a 3min walk to the shore. Hire kayaks or pedalos for 10euro. A man sells water and fizzy cans from a fridge but there are 2 cafes near the car park to dine in. Take shade as there is none. Brilliant day out. The info centre opens at 5.30if you want to learn more about the flooding of the lake and the history/wildlife etc.
