Tanager tourism is a small eco-tour company, run by two biologists. We organise camping trips to Coiba (1, 2 or 3 nights), snorkelling and walks through the forest. We can almost guarantee that you will see hawksbill turtles and white-tip reefsharks, plus many many other reef fish. We also organise camping trips into the Cerro Hoya, one of the least explored parks in Panama. Be prepared for a steep climb over rough tracks. We usually camp one or two nights near the cloud forest. As a former English teacher and avid scuba diver, I have moved my classroom to Coiba National Park and my subject matter to freediving. I love the rough beauty of the Pacific, the marvelous chance encounters with marvelous creatures in this ocean and the challenge of getting someone comfortable plunging into the deep on just one breath.
