It is a vast humid area, basically a wetland, which is partially and discretely forested, which makes it like a swamp. Yet, being close to black volcanic mountain, makes the landscape beautiful, specially for those interested in wildlife. In fact, the region is a natural inhabitants for different kind of birds, esp. flamingos. Hiking black mountain and visiting wetland from the top is suggested.
