I visited Oyama Afuri shrine and the shrine behind called Okusha - the top of Oyama mountain with friends. The rocky hiking is somewhat intermediate level - not for beginners. You must wear hiking (trekking) shoes. If you are collecting Goshuin Stamp, you can get 2 kind of stamps after you are done hiking to the top to see Okusha. The light up was very beautiful after sunset! Red leaves are amazing near Oyama cable station, Oyama temple (not Afuri shrine) - light up event ended on Nov 26th Sunday but it's a must see! Don't forget to get natural spring water behind the shrine and feel the holiness inside. Bring empty bottle and bring back the delicious spring water back home!
