Kinsale Pottery and Arts Centre offer short courses in a wide range of arts and crafts throughout the year. These include pottery, stained and fused glass, jewellery-making, mosaics, batik, needle felting, weaving and rag weaving,sculpting in silver and childrens arts and crafts. We specialise in one-day workshops and weekend breaks for visitors, and half-day sessions for groups of between 6 and 50 people. The Centre also has a large gallery of Adrian Wistreich's ceramics.

We loved Carol’s gallery, we had to go back a second day! Her work is astounding, especially how she can capture the sea and skies in their beauty and enormity. Well worth going to! Bought her book whilst there. We were also lucky enough to meet her on our first day. Such a lovely lady. Well worth visiting!

I had a very enjoyable visit here. The gallery now hosts different shows in different rooms. Cynthia, the curator, is there in person, and was happy to tell me more about what was currently on show. One room had the last-ever public exhibition of a set of black and white photographs taken at Auschwitz. They were present-day images, with a few tourists in some of the images. This may be the most haunting place on Earth to see, and the views selected were arresting. In the front room of the Edwardian building I was very interested to see that Cynthia had painted the actual walls - a great idea - with plant designs. Her own giant canvases of stylised bats and giraffes are wonderfully colourful. Out the back is the Conservatory Gallery, which had a new show by a local artist. Each month the exhibits change, so its worth returning regularly. Free entry.

Its new location is perfectly suited to the only commercial gallery in Kilkenny. A gallery whose reputation is based on trust and excellent customer service.

The Gallery opened its doors in May 2014 - this venture is the brainchild of three like-minded local artists Sue Basler, Victoria Foutz and Suzie Sullivan. They have created an eclectic and innovative space where clients can buy a range of handmade Irish craft in a relaxed environment, meeting the artists and seeing them at work. Thomas MacDonagh, Irish patriot, poet, teacher and a leader of Ireland's 1916 insurrection now has a museum and heritage centre in his home town of Cloughjordan. This centre is located in a renovated MacDonagh family home and brings to the public the story of this man and the place in which he grew up.

Immensely enjoyed my visit to this fabulous gallery. Work had an international aspect as well as depicting the Irish landscape in a multifaceted way. My visit was all the more enriched by a personal sharing from artist owner whose work was really the star of the show.
