Rated as the fourth best course in California by Golf Today magazine.
The beauty of the California foothills is all around here. This course has a few holes that play in a residential area, but most of the holes have very large wide open fairways. The greens were in great shape, the course was also in great shape. There are elevation changes, trees, water hazards, bunkers, etc. This course can be challenging when you first play it, after a few rounds you learn where to hit and where not to hit. On 17, can you hit it over the big oak tree or go around it? Are you brave enough to try and land on the peninsula on 18", or do you play it safe and go out to the right? Several holes allows you to see the tower of the Preston institute. When you are finished golfing you should stop and take a look at the place. There is a very small snack shack here, and th clubhouse has some nice items for sale. The course is a little costly, it averages $60.00 to play.
