Meg and Nick have travelled extensively and used their experience as professional artists, each having their own unique style. Meg uses acrylics and flow mediums/multi media in her work. Nick uses oils for his pallet knife and extrusion in his paintings. Meg Hayley runs a range of art classes for novices and accomplished artists. They are carried out in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere and cover a wide range of techniques.

Gorgeous beach whether it be sunny or windy! Kite surf for the husband with wind in all directions, beautiful beach and dunes which shelter. Parking pretty easy even in summer. Can't go wrong. Shallow in places ideal for the young ones and new kite surfers like me!

Interesting reading material at the Shell museum about the dinosaurs once roaming the area, walk down along the coast line at Cape Paterson to visit where they once walked & fossils have been found. Great for all ages.

You lose yourself in the view of the water here as the water shimmers under a perfect summer's day... even if you were to walk further up the inlet where the water is out, there is something really special about being able to walk along the sands and enjoy the spectacular views on offer. When I arrived there today there were oodles of people wandering along the paths and waterways and enjoying the perfect day. It is an amazing place to visit.

At only a two hour drive from Melbourne Australia's first dinosaur bone, the Cape Paterson Claw, was discovered here in 1903 by William Ferguson in Cape Paterson or what is now Eagles Nest, Bunurong Marine National Park, Inverloch. At low tide stunning rock pools and colorful sandstone formations are revealed which make for good photo shoot opportunities. Not very far down the road in eastern direction you’ll find the township of Inverloch with its beautiful beaches, fishing corners and lovely cafes. The whole coastline is absolutely magnificent. In Inverloch itself there is the Bunurong Environment Center where you can gain a lot of information about the area, its past, present and future ... if you are a really keen ‘paleontologist’ then book a tour with Mike Cleland who will take you to Flat Rocks and will take you back in time 120 million years. Eagles Nest and Inverloch are truly a place for the whole family to spent a couple of weeks discovering, sporting and relaxing near the ocean. Totally recommendable!!! :)
