The team at Argyll Adventures are very professional, the trip we went on was very well organised with safety and fun equally measured. Our hour trek along a lovely path with views out to Loch Fyne was terrific for both adults and kids, the ponies are very well trained calm and friendly. The team encouraged and guided us through out. A really memorable and fun experience.

Speciality Scotch whisky, Scottish gins and gifts. We'll help you find your Clan Crest and which other Scottish Clans and family names your family is associated with. We have a large range of specialist Scottish gifts.
We don't often get the chance to Inverarary, but when we do we always go to see Andy the owner, he never forgets a face and is a welcome sight to him every time we visit. His shop is much more better than loch fyne whiskies and you get much more than just buying whisky it's an education. Love Andy and hope he's still there in years to come.

Inveraray Castle is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll and their young family. Ancestral home of Clan Campbell. Iconic visitor attraction on the West coast of Scotland.
I had an amazing time at Inveraray Castle. All staff were lovely, the gardens were magnificent, the castle itself is a fantastic historical gem and the scones in the tea room are to die for. Notably, my guide Bridget was extremely informative and her bubbly personality absolutely made our day. Thank you Bridget.

Available in six languages.
Really warm welcome as soon as we entered the jail - unusual thing to notice at this kind of attraction! - and a fun chat about how welcome dogs are. We didn't have a dog but it seemed a good feature to us, rather than making them stay in a car! The audio guide was extremely good: informative and provided a purposeful and fun way to take in all the information, which was added to nicely by the costumed guides strategically positioned. Lots to see - but not too long - interactive in places too: the photo booth is a fun idea, sitting in the court, trying out the hammocks etc were all engaging. Decent shop at the end. Fully recommended.

Purdie’s of Argyll is a family-run company that makes soaps, candles and skin care products on the west coast of Scotland. All of our soaps and beauty products are handmade using certified organic base ingredients. Those ingredients are then blended with pure essential oils to produce a unique and ethical product that contains no nasties, is vegan friendly and has never been tested on animals. You can discover the full Purdie's range of beauty products for yourself on a visit to our shop in picturesque Inveraray. The town sits on the western shore of Loch Fyne and is home to a castle, (ancestral home to the Campbell Clan), a jail, (open all year round to visitors), and the author, Neil Munro's, famous Vital Spark Puffer. Purdie's shop sits near the top of Main Street directly opposite the renowned George Hotel and can be reached in just over an hour from Glasgow by car or bus.
Stumbled across this shop and noticed three sell some bits for men such as beard oil and soap. Reasonably priced so thought I’d give it a go. Amazed! By a mile the best product I have ever used and this includes Kielhs beard out which is over £40 and half the size. The quality of the product was obvious from the 1st use and only gets better with time. I recommend all beardies ditch what they are using for a bit and give this a go. The fragrance is amazing too and actually quite therapeutic, especially the lavender and menthol as I was feeling poorly and feel so much better. Such a great product, both the oils and the soap.
