Lucas Vineyards is celebrating their 40th anniversary during COVID-19. They had some interesting ways to distinguish themselves in a COVID-19 world. For a $10 tasting fee they included a 40th anniversary glass, a bottle of water, crackers and a sticker. You ordered and went outside to wait. They brought your order in plastic glasses that you could taste fro your glass. Very nice! Pleasant employees made you feel welcome. Tables and winery felt very clean and safe with a block on the tables letting you know which had been cleaned or not. Unfortunately due to COVID you didn't get the explanations of each wine as you would with a traditional tasting, but this was a fantastic alternative!

Lively Run Goat Dairy is one of the longest operating commercial goat dairies in the country, beginning production in New York State in 1982 and pioneering goat cheese in the American marketplace. The entire Messmer family works to continue the mission of bringing to the Finger Lakes region healthy, sustainable and delicious goat cheese. Come visit the farm, get a tour, see our baby goats in the spring, eat some cheese cake, and most importantly - try our cheese!
We stopped by the farm shop to pick up some cheese right after they were given the approval to open up their shop after the Covid 19 shutdown. The woman who waited on us was as sweet as could be and although tastings are not currently permitted, she explained the different cheeses to us. We purchased two different kinds and they are both fabulous. We love searching out local dairies and farms when we travel and Lively Run did not disappoint. Definitely worth a stop.

This is a really nice spot. Lots of different choices of ciders and flights. Food choices are on the fancy side, but very nice and yummy. Lots of outdoor seating for the adults and space for the kids to play. If your trying the local brews - this is a must stop.

We are a family owned Finger Lakes winery located on the west side of Cayuga lake. Our grapes are sourced from the finest Finger Lakes vineyards. Shepherdess Cellars wines are produced and bottled in our on site production facility. We specialize in dry wines but for the sweeter palate we have several semi-dry wines and a dessert wine.
What a great family owned winery! Where their own children (and Maggie the dog) interacts with you. Our server was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Winemaker was very pleasant and accommodating as well. Def a stop on your list here and the wine itself was delicious. Loved their Cab Sauv and Chardonnay is a must try.
