We are a 40-acre vegetable farm of many flavors offering exquisite tastes in ticketed genuine farm-to-table dining, wedding ceremonies and receptions, private parties, educational tours and concerts. We sold our first vegetables in 2006 and today the majority of our produce is sold directly to restaurants. In addition we offer retail sales at our own farm stand here at Kai-Kai or Gardens Green Market. Much of our fresh grown vegetables end up on dinner plates here at special events held between October- May. Join our CSA, purchase our vegetables at a market or visit area restaurants that support local farms (there are not many farms by the way-we need some). Our senior customers are Cafe Chardonnay, The Cooper, and The Breakers to name three. There are many more and we do not wish to offend but the list is too long for this space. Eat Local!
I have now attended two farm tours and dinners at Kai Kai and both were amazing. Diane and Carl are amazing hosts and tour guides. I learned a lot just walking around the farm and now participate in the CSA and get boxes of veggies weekly at the gardens green market. The food and wine at both dinners have been superb. Last season I attended the Tim Lipman (Coolinary) dinner, this past week was Rick Mace from Cafe Boulud. Great crowd of people, always nice chatting with other attendees. Great ambiance and amazing jazz band. Just a lovely evening, well worth the cost. Will be at more dinners this season.
Two garden-style outdoor venues at Kai-Kai Farm where touring music acts perform on a large state-of-the-art pro stage, and top chefs serve gourmet creations in a screened-in pole barn with view of the stage and market garden.
REAL FOOD GROWN CLEAN. Local, sustainably grown, Non-GMO produce grown with organic methods. Our varieties of produce change weekly. CoLab Farms is open for tours Wednesdays 8am-4pm. Or you can find us at farmer's markets on the weekends. Stop by and see what type of lettuces, herbs and vegetables we're growing!
