Went to Cabongaoan Beach for a weekend getaway from Manila. Took us about 6 hours to get there, last part was on unfinished bumpy road with tricycle, but as we got there we were amazed. The sand isn't the finest, but there were almost no people there. Exactly what we were looking for. Too bad a group of 5-6 youths kept being noisy evening through night. We didn't see any restaurants, so we bought squid (cheap), vegetables and rice and had it cooked for us. Turned out to be a lovely meal. A word of warning, if you're visiting the Death Pool, use slippers or your feet will be tortured. All in all, will definetly go back, and next time we'll check out some other beaches in the lovely Pangasinan province too.

Many people say the beaches in the south are better than those in the north. Surprisingly, this beach can keep up with those I consider as best beaches I've been to in the Panay Islands. The waters are crystal clear and blue green, the sands are beige colored, and lots of shells, corals, and pretty stones big & small abound. The waves are big and strong though, but it's what made our trip fun. My kids loved the waves splashing on them and toppling them off their feet. The shallow part's kid friendly, and the recent typhoons carved an inlet/small lagoon on the sands, perfect for small kids. On the edge of the cove, the waves are quieter as there are boulders here serving as shelter from the waves. In this area you can enjoy swimming & jumping from the boulders to the water. There's a small, shallow lagoon bordered by rocks where kids 4 years old above can swim in. For adventurous adults like my husband, you can swim & snorkel farther out in the sea. At the resort we stayed in there are picnic cottages good for at least 6-7 people following social distancing protocol. There's a store where you can buy snacks and drinks, including mineral water. We brought our own food but there's a grille you can use for roasting. The resort is clean including the toilets & shower rooms.. Parking space is ample. If you want to stay the night, there are aircon rooms for PHP3,500/1 day, 1 night. Overall, we had fun, and will definitely visit again.

Acapulco beach is a really nice place to visit. You can relax and feel the beach vibe while the waves of the sea touches your feet along the shore. It has a white sand which makes it a beautiful beach.

I've been in Patar Beach, Bolinao Pangasinan many times and the landscape view is so fulfilling, the sand was so pure alike in Boracay Island, to one's liking the sea breeze at night, the waves and the peace that i've felt while i'm there is immeasurable. So if you have the chance to visit Pangasinan, Patar Beach is highly recommended.

I can't say anything special about the place. It's one of the many beaches in the area, up there, NW Luzon. Good for family gatherings, bike tours etc. Walking around and collecting shells and corals - really good place to chill. Do not expect too much if you like to swim - scenery is very beautiful but water up there is usually very shallow until you hit the coral reefs, that one can not pass bare footed anyway :)
