Booked a private transfer from Tangier Airport. Driver didn't show up. None of the phone numbers provided in their automated pickup notification worked, all phones turned off. Googled another phone number. Someone picked up, promised to help and never called back. After my 3rd attempt to call them again, they didn't answer their phone as well. Waited for more than 1 hour until i decided to get a local taxi. Not even worth 1* out of 5.

We did a 6 day trip starting in Marrakech and finishing in Casablanca. I definitely recommend booking with Morocco Soul Tours. Communication was great from the start as it took some time to tailor the trip to everything we wanted to do. Youssef was our driver and guide and he was fantastic and had a great knowledge of Morocco. We got to stay a night in the Sahara and had a local guide show us around Fes. We booked our own hotels though as found that it was cheaper that way. The car was clean, safe, and comfortable. Overall, recommend booking with them. It is difficult to hit all of the spots on your own given the size of the country and how far places are from each other. You need a car to get around, and recommend a driver that knows the area.

What started as a just another trip, became one of the most intense and great life experiences we've ever had! Morocco is an amazing and beautiful country! The colours, the people, the food, the souks (local markets), the desert, etc. are unforgettable! You go back in time in the blink of an eye. Of course non of these would have been noticeable to us without Mr Abdolmajid Boutarfa, our local driver and guide! He make sure that we are comfortable and safe through the whole journey. His company was very well appreciated and respected. He went above and beyond for us. My best friend and I were originally supposed to take another tour with another company, which fell through at the last minute. Talk about fortuitous!!! We could not have been happier with the tour and especially our driver Omar! Wow. Omar was so very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. And what a sense of humor! He geared the entire trip around what we wanted to do, and would stop anywhere we wanted to stop (“ooooh Omar- what’s that?” “Would you like to stop?”) My friend and I (we are both American) ended up taking the tour with a Russian couple and by the second day it felt as though all 5 of us had already been friends who decided to go on road trip together. The places we were scheduled to stop were beautiful, safe and friendly. The night at the Berber village was fantastic, where we took a desert camel ride at sunset and then another the next morning (don’t let “camel trek” scare you off. It’s not much time spent on the camel) at night there were drums and singing by firelight, with about 10 other travelers from different treks. And let me tell you I have never seen stars like the ones I saw in the Sahara. I didn’t want to even blink so as to soak up every moment. If you are in Fes and on your way to Marrakech, this is the way to do it. This company also does other routes so check in with them if that’s not your exact direction. Whichever way you go, take your time and soak up as much of the local culture as possible. If you’re a shy traveler, it’s a great way to meet other travelers and really learn about and get a feel for local flavor. Its very affordable and if you are lucky enough to get Omar as your driver, any questions you may have will be answered with aplomb. Can you tell I cannot say enough good things about Omar? He really made sh*t happen. One more tip: if you are planning on renting a car and driving in Morocco, I would advise against it as a foreigner, especially if you do not speak Arabic. I was planning on driving myself from Marrakech to Chefchaouen and cancelled the car reservation upon arrival to Marrakech after seeing how many police checkpoints there are throughout Morocco. Having a government sanctioned/licensed tour company like this one is your best and safest way to go, with far less hassle from the police. Have fun and I hope you enjoy Morocco as much as we did!

Must do in Morocco. We had a 3-day tour (Marrakesh-Fes) with our guide Omar and it was amazing. Omar was very punctual, he told us a lot about the country and the places we visited. During the journey, we felt the real Africa, experienced the difference between civilization and desert. We were surprised how many unique places we visited just in 3 days. Authentic cities, canyons, gorges, Berber camp, camels, and even wild monkeys! The camp in the desert was very comfortable and clean. Special thanks to Hassan from the camp - he taught us to play drums :) Said who was communicating with us at the very beginning was responding rapidly and gave us useful advices. Thank you all once again for this unforgettable experience!

The stunning city of Marrakesh was a truly incredible and magical experience. Bursting with history, culture, mosques, markets, palaces, gardens, people and photo opportunities. We were lucky enough to amble down side alleys where we came across a curious café synagogue, lodgings and there we got talking with a wonderful person who my mother and I feel we were blessed to have met. The wonderful Salah Belbair, a knowledgeable guy with great language talent, charm and a caring personality. He spoke to us about the Berber people, history and gepgraphy of the country and the magic of the medinas, including things to see and to beware of. We drunk coffee together, befriended each other, chatted and he organised us crazy camel rides, a stunning meal with local music and entertainment in a mystical location, a marvelous trip to the shores of Essaouira seeing the tree climbing goats and the Argan oil co-ops on route and we made memories that will last a life time. We so want to go back to see more, learn more and do much more. I would definitely recommend a vist to Morocco, it is impossible not to fall in love with this wonderful place. Get in contact with Salah to help make your trip the best imaginable and enjoy all he, his connections and land have to share with you.

The tour company we booked with was Deep Morocco Tours. Our guide, Hamid, was excellent. His vehicle, a Mercedes SUV, was clean and comfortable. Hamid graciously allowed us ample time to take a multitude of photos of the goats in the trees on our way to Essaouira. He then spent most of the day doing exactly what we loved doing ... SHOPPING! We told him he didn’t have to stay with us while we went through almost every shop in town but he chose to stay with us even after one of us had to buy an extra suitcase to bring more souvenirs home. He pulled the suitcase around town while it was filled. What a guy! He took us to a lovely rooftop restaurant that overlooked the Atlantic for a fabulous seafood lunch. What a pleasant, relaxing day. The icing on the cake was when he contacted us a day later to let us know I forgot my bag of Argan oil in his vehicle. Somehow it slid up under the seat and I didn’t notice it missing. He even delivered it to our hotel. I highly recommend this company and Hamid as a guide. It was the best day out of the 4 we spent in Marrakech.
