Koutsounari beach did not disappoint. The water was crystal clear and refreshing, the sand beautiful and it is a very quiet beach. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend this trip if you love beaches. We travelled from Hersonissos to Chania(south of island) took around 1.5hrs. Tour guide was excellent. Explained everything you needed to know in great detail. Speaking all languages on the coach. The bus journey was quite pleasant and relaxing. Then the boat trip (took 50 mins) to chrissi island. The water was so clear. Nothing to do on the island, but sunbathe and swim. Porta loos and a small bar on there too. You’ll spend the whole 4.5hrs in the sea as it’s beautiful. Beds and parasol set is €20 Euro’s (excessive) we went beginning of August and it was red hot. No breeze at all. So you might need to spend this to get some shade. Would highly recommend this trip!

The waterfall Ha Gorge is close to the DSS paper factory. You can park the car near the small church. From there you take a 400 m walk. Take good shoes it is a stony way. From the exit of the waterfall you can climb up and you can have a look into Ha Gorge. In August the waterfall was dry without water.
