Madammakkulam Waterfalls

Need off road drive to reach Madammakulam waterfalls from Kuttikanam. It is about 12 km form Kuttikanam and it takes about 45 minutes to reach there in Jeep. You have to walk down about 200 meters to reach the spot. The view was awesome.

Anchuruli Waterfalls

Reviewed By majeed3133 - Adivad, India

Overview Situated amongst the gushing locations in Western Ghats Land and providing an enchanting view of the semi-evergreen forests grasslands, Anchuruli Waterfalls (also spelt as Anjuruli) is a surreal location definitely worth visiting. The water that comes from Erattayar River is used for the Idukki hydro-electric project. A tunnel which is 2 km long passes through Erattayar and Anchuruli carrying water to the lake. Though the tunnel is dangerous, it is a fun place to take a stroll at especially for all the adventure lovers

Cheeyappara Waterfalls

Reviewed By AjayVenkatesh - Mumbai, India

We were en route munnar driving from Cochin and we happens to stop by this huge waterfall right beside the road. What a breathtaking sight. We spent 30 odd minutes here admiring nature. It was empty and hardly people there due to off season so we could park right in front of the fall and enjoy it's beauty. You get tea coffee nearby in case you want to have some snacks. You can't go inside the fall you can just enjoy the beauty from outside.

Valara waterfalls

Reviewed By SangeethaAnbalagan - Mumbai, India

During Feb'19, myself along with my hubby got to visit Munnar from Alleppey, on the way to Munnar, got to see Cheyyappara and Valara waterfalls, got down to spend some time there and to take pictures. Cheyyappara and Valara waterfalls are one among the best trekking locations in Idukki district. Many people come across these waterfalls on the way to Munnar and it is slowly turning into a tourist hotbed. There is a dense growth of trees all around and several rare species of plants and animals can be seen in the vicinity. Valara Waterfalls are known for the lush greenery surrounding it and is a lovely picnic location. Had very nice time at this natural location.
