We LOVED this wonderful museum! The owners were phenomenal and so informative. Their cheerful way of teaching made this an incredible experience for all of us. It had an incredible history worth of items all the way up to the present day. They provided a great scavenger hunt that kept us all searching and enjoying all the museum had to offer. We would definitely recommend this to anyone! Great for kids and adults.

We went to the dinosaur exhibit with our 3 teenagers. The exhibit is fairly large and the displays are better than normal. It was fun and engaging for our teenagers and my wife and I. We spent a couple of hours at the museum and unfortunately some of their Idaho exhibits are currently closed due to setting up new exhibitions. And look forward to seen the new exhibits and will go back. Top notch museum and better than expected.

We came here to see the lava flows because we didn't plan to drive all the way to Craters of the Moon. (In an unexpected turn of events, we did anyway....so it makes a good comparison for this review.) It was snowy, but we could still see the lava rocks and how they are all holey and stacked up. It was a very interesting terrain. You just stop at the rest area and it is very well marked of where to go off of I-15 South between Idaho Falls and Blackfoot. We actually enjoyed this stop more than when we got over to Craters of the Moon because this time of year, the road at the park is closed so we couldn't really see anything. We did see bear scat here so know that you are not alone even though it feels very remote!

A very nice memorial. During our visit to Idaho Falls one of our planned stops for our family reunion group was to visit this memorial. One of my brothers in law and also my husband both served in the Vietnam War. They used the map of Vietnam that is carved into the sculpture to talk and educate the rest of our group about some of the locations where they were stationed and about some of the happenings. Very interesting.

As part of the open air display of art in Idaho Falls, this is one of the crowning jewels. The sculpture is quite large with several bald eagles amidst dead branches. Inside there is a fountain. It is a very cohesive and striking sculpture and you can literally drive around it. When you tour around Idaho falls, it is easy to encounter. This and the benches around the River walk are truly striking and unique.
