Huy (pronounced [ɥi]; Dutch: Hoei; Walloon: Hu) is a municipality of Belgium. It lies in the country's Walloon Region and Province of Liege. Huy lies along the river Meuse, at the mouth of the small river Hoyoux. It is in the sillon industriel, the former industrial backbone of Wallonia, home to about two-thirds of the Walloon population. The Huy municipality includes the sub-municipalities of Ben-Ahin, Neuville-sous-Huy, and Tihange.

The interior of this fine Gothic church is crowned with a painted vault, extremely rare in Gothic churches. The huge west tower has a wonderful stained glass rose window, worth the effort alone of visiting just to see this one feature. Sadly, the crypt was closed when we were there, apparently it was filled up during the construction of the gothic church and only rediscovered in 1906.
Huy must be one of the very few cities to advertise its nuclear power station as a tourist attraction! Play it safe and see this lovely church instead.

The park itself is very clean - but a bit dated. Don't expect all the "bells and whistles" of more sophisticated amusement parks. There are different playground areas with jungle gyms, slides, swings etc that are free but the rides (train, small roller coaster etc) are not included in the entrance fee (I think you have to pay an extra 8.00 euros per child to receive a bracelet which allows them unlimited access to all the different rides inside the park). The bird show and show with seals is quite entertaining - just be sure to arrive at least thirty minutes before show time on a busy day at the park in order to get a seat - the Seating area fills up quite rapidly. Although they do sell food and drinks at the park you can bring in your own if you wish. It's really not bad for a family afternoon with younger children although I would think kids over say the age of 10 will probably not find it THAT entertaining.

You will feel fine and in peace in that space, in that temple, in that castle.. You will see that being close to the main electric Power Station in Belgium doesn't impaired the calmness and peacefulness of that area. To be visited for sure, even if you are not a Buddhist.

Beau bateau très propre. Personnel accueillant.
