Natural Splendor along the Swatara.Like many caverns in the Mid-Atlantic states, Indian Echo Caverns is a limestone cave. Cut through Beekmantown limestone, which is over 440 million years old, they were formed through the erosive properties of water. As time progressed, geological forces led to an "uplift" of the surrounding limestone, eventually allowing more and more water to flow through the formation. As the water flowed over the limestone, it began to create small crevices, these small crevices led to larger ones, and eventually, over a series of millions of years, it created the caverns as they are today. The temperature inside the caverns is 52 degrees year around.
We took our grandson to visit the caverns in December. Because they are underground, the temps remain at 50 degrees year round - it was warmer than the outdoor temps. The caverns are relatively small when compared to many of the more well known caves (Luray) but offer many of the same geological formations, narrow passageways, and an underground lake. Our guide was engaging and told many stories about the caverns. You can find discount admission coupons online. The gift shop offered many low cost options for kid souvenirs. Be aware that you walk down a distance into the caverns, and consequently, have a pretty steep climb (with steps) coming back up.

Besides an extraordinary collection of old and unique cars, buses and motorcycles, there are exhibits on old diners, and gas stations. There a whole section on Tucker automobiles! Staff is mostly retired gentleman who volunteer their time. Extremely informative.
For children there are lots of hands on activities and a separated room with an extreme miniature railroad setup.

Open year-round, Hershey Gardens' new Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory features an indoor, tropical Butterfly Atrium, where guests can experience hundreds of butterflies and tropical plants. Opened in 1937, the 23-acre outdoor garden features a renowned rose garden, magnificent theme gardens, colorful seasonal displays, and a whimsical Children's Garden.
Hershey Gardens are beautiful. I would recommend going in the summer to experience it and all of its beauty.
Lots of flowers and they also have a butterfly sanctuary indoors. It is gorgeous. There are butterflies everywhere.
The grounds are well spaced and cared for. I would recommend going here.

I didn't think that stores like this existed anymore! From the outside, it looks like a regular storefront, but it is huge inside. All kinds of marvelous toys, from many countries are everywhere.
We came with our daughter, and 13 month old granddaughter, and all four of us were reluctant to leave after having spent 40 minutes there. In fact, the little one was ready to cry, and it was not like she had a run of the place, as she was strapped to her mother. My husband and I felt like we were in Fantasyland.
We made some purchases for all three grandchildren. These were all items we had never seen anywhere else.
This is such a unique and fascinating store. Very much worth a visit.

Tröegs Brewing Company was founded by Chris and John Trogner. Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery.
Took my husband for a surprise birthday tour on a Friday evening, where 6 of our friends met us at the Brewery. Took the 5$ tour first and it was very informative and interesting. We had several tastes along the way. Picked up a flight and something to eat, and settled in at a table to eat lamb, brisket and fries, sweet potato chips, Bahn mi. Chips were tasty but VERY salty. Everything else was good, but the brisket won hands down. Parking is limited although the new lot is large. Tasting room/food tables are large and noisy so be prepared for that.

Find us just 3 miles from Hersheypark! Since 1903 this land has been cultivated by the Cassel Family. Brothers, Craig and Chris are the fifth generation to harvest the bounty of this fertile land. As stewards of the land we take pride in growing the highest quality grapes and hand crafting them into fresh, estate grown, local wines.
A winery around a horse farm. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was friendly and engaging. Tasting room is small, but it did not impact our visit. $5 tasting and you get to keep the unique glass. They also offer a local brewery beer to try as well. We will be back.

This arcade has very few games and most are 4 tokens which is pretty unfair compared to other arcades as is the amount of tickets you receive. The other very dirty thing they did was to take balls away from games. So now you have...MoreThank you for your review. We have over 20 games and we get new ones each year. We hope you come back and give us another try.

We went to see the performance of "Parkside Harmony" This performance was sold out. Parking was more than ample. Hershey Theater is a must place to see quality performances. It is a First rate theater. The inside of the theater is classic. Take the time to really look (and take pictures) of the art work and architecture that surrounds you. Seats are close together but comfortable. Bathrooms are down stairs. Check out their web site for additional information on shows. Located right off the square in Hershey, Pa.

There were five children and four adults in our group. We purchased our one day discount tickets at the Giant Supermarket on Friday afternoon. This ticket allowed us to get into the park Friday night at 6:30 until closing which was perfect! There were no lines for any of the rides. Came back Saturday morning, a bit crowded, but not too bad, stayed till about 2:00pm, left for an early dinner and got back to the park around 5:00 and stayed till closing, again no lines on the rides. The park is very clean and everything seems to be well maintained.
