I fell in love with Vietnam on a one-time trip. Not because of its islands, not because of its famous bridge, not because of its nature. I fell in love with this country because of the good and kind people of Vietnam. Of course, Vietnam has very beautiful islands.

It was more than perfect. I was kinda worried about the rain but SUMMER has brought me the rain coat. I rode with Summer on her bike and she took me to some places I wanted to visit and even a place to try some local snacks. That was a very memorable moment and I absolutely enjoyed the tour. Thanks again to SUMMER and I highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to know more about this city, HUE with a local.

Anh is a great teacher, very passionate about what he does and speaks amazing English! Ignore any bad reviews, the lemongrass chicken was to die for and the green mango salad was a revelation! The pork skewers are barbecued on lemon grass sticks and were delicious. We picked up all of our ingredients fresh at the market just beforehand and Anh spoke to us about what the unusual fruits and veg were and a bit about the history of the market. The cooking itself was accessible enough for beginner cooks to get stuck into, but still different enough from western styles to engage more experienced cooks as well!

Chose this tour company thru my canadian travel agent. Excellent choice. It was a private tour. Our guide, our driver my husband and I. It was a good choice considering the covid 19 epidemic. From beginning to abrupt end of our tour we had excellent knowledgeable guides and top drawer accommadations. The tours were well planned and gave us a good understanding of their homeland and what made them proud. We had time to investigate things on our own as well. Unfortunately we had to leave one week early but plan to return one day. We would not hesitate using this company again. We are in our 60's and our activities met our abilities. Felt safe and well informed with necessary changes. We were given a refund for places we were unable to go to

I contacted Tom in a bit of a panic because I was heading to Da Nang for about five days with no real plan. Tom put together an awesome itinerary for me and in a matter of hours I was scheduled with tours, transportation etc. Even better was that he was available on WhatsApp for questions during the week and was always responsive and helpful. I even left my sweatshirt on a bus one evening and Tom managed to get it back to me which is nothing short of a miracle. I can’t recommend his services enough, he’s a real professional. I will definitely reach out to firefly next time I’m in Vietnam.

Our family had a wonderful tour of My Son with Andy. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the temples, but he also spent the ride to My Son from Hoi An explaining all kinds of interesting tidbits about Vietnamese culture and history. We had our 21 month old with us, and he was very patient. Even explaining things twice so that one of us could stay with our son and take turns going up areas where it would be hard to navigate with the stroller. We basically had the area to ourselves as tourism hasn’t quite bounced back yet from the Covid season.

Easily made arrangements with the company rep, Mr. Bean (nickname), for a large van from Hue to Danang for just $83 USD. We stopped along the way in Lang Co and the Hai Van Pass and were offered to see more sights in Hue beforehand, but were focused on seeing the Hai Van Pass in nice weather so we pushed on. Beautiful scenery. You reserve cars of different sizes for less/more and add/omit stops along the way as they'll tailor the tour accordingly. Very pleasant drive and experience. You can also add a guide if you want. Our driver, Mr. Minh, was very kind and attentive. We stopped along the way for snacks and took our time to relax at the top of the Hai Van Pass for a while. They can also provide a children's car seat for a small fee if needed (we brought our own). Comfortable and convenient. If you're traveling between Hue-Danang-Hoi An in either direction, highly recommend using this car service it's more affordable and convenient than taking hotel cars or local taxis that distance.
