Large park includes boat ramp fishing pier picnic areas and beach area on lake. Great for young kids for day off the water.

First, due to the threat of rain on our original day of rental, I called to see if we could change our day. Not only were we able to change to a different day, but we were lucky enough to still have the Blue Pontoon available. The staff did make sure we were aware that if that was not the case, there was gong to be a fee (which we were OK with). Everyone was friendly and helpful in getting us out on the lake as early as possible. We were given a map with all the necessary information. Biggest bonus for my husband? The fish finder worked! Spent the entire day sight seeing and fishing. Beautiful views from a beautiful pontoon. Upon returning to the marina, the gentlemen were great with getting us through checkout so we could have plenty of time to eat a late lunch. Highly recommend for any couple or family looking to enjoy this wonderful lake.
Are you ready to experience one of Virginia’s hidden gems? Join me on my home water of Smith Mountain Lake! We love SML because of the vast landscape and record-breaking fishing opportunities. I have been a fisherman for most of my life and I have a deep passion for teaching others the sport. With my passion and knowledge of bass fishing combined with my years of experience, I offer people a unforgettable fishing experience on the Smith Mountain Lake.
