Millstone 14 is a great theater, plenty of options of recent releases to watch and a great concession stand. Like most theaters, it is somewhat pricey, but no more than one might expect to spend in the theater in this area.

The doors opened on 16 August 2000, the 60th anniversary of the original Test Platoon’s first parachute jump. The museum offers free admission, a main exhibit gallery, temporary gallery, four-story tall theater, a gift shop, and a motion simulator ride that features two experiences. Admission is free, and we do accept donations in the gift shop and in donation boxes in the lobby. The main gallery is designed as a self-guided tour, in chronological order, through the history of airborne and special operations soldiers from 1940 to the present. The temporary gallery changes periodically and displays a myriad of exhibits pertaining to the United States Army airborne and special operations units through their history and conflicts from World War II to the present.
This place is amazing! If you give something infinite rating, this would be the place. Every high school kid or adult not ever exposed to some history about our airborne and SOG warriors should visit!

A local brewery owned and operated by a group of great friends serving up great beers! The Blood Orange Kolsch, the Cold Brew Mocha Porter, and the IPA are always on tap, and they can be found in many restaurants within the surrounding areas. Be sure to check out the webpage for upcoming events and food truck schedules. See you soon!
I have been here several times and each time try the wide variety of their inhouse produced brews. Each one has a unique flavor, the staff will even custom mix something for you. Even though they dont sell food, there is always a local food truck in the parking lot. Last Saturday night it was the little taco truck and if you weeks ago it was a shish kabob truck both were excellent with outstanding prices and a large amount of food. You can even bring your own food, dog or other pets and children are definitely welcome they have several areas for them to play their own games inside and out. I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in town or or a longtime local. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, you can't taste any of the on tap varieties for free.

This is a newer Museum but if you have a chance walk on over there, covers the history of the veterans of North Carolina. And the grounds are very well kept.

From the bag check to closing we were thrilled with our experience. We visited with a group of teens and discovered that there is enjoyment for everyone! I was amazed at the cleanliness of the park, the lake, beaches and picnic areas were amazing. Plenty of tables and grills in several tree shaded areas provided a delightful way to enjoy lunch and the "employee rest breaks". I have seen unfavorable reviews on the "rest breaks" but found that when the lake was "cleared" our kids got time to hydrate and rest, so we appreciated that "time out".
I have never seen such a great crew at a venue, you were made to feel like a true guest.
You are permitted to bring food, shade pavilions, chairs, rafts and whatever else you need to make your day the best. There is also a deli with a wide selection of reasonably priced options. The pricing for rentals of chairs and shade pavilions is also very reasonable.
Cannot wait to visit again!

Cape Fear Botanical Garden is a premier destination in Fayetteville, NC. We provide an urban oasis for local residents and visitors alike, as well as educational programming and recreational activities to strengthen our community.
Ok, this place is stunningly beautiful now that the renovations are complete and the grounds have grown to maturity. The holiday seasons are especially nice with the added decorations depending on the events.

Spread over 700 acres of natural beauty, this 18-hole, par 72 golf course features 7,240 yards of Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens.
The golf course is well kept and the service and price were good. At times, the course is much nicer than you would expect in the Fayetteville area. The country club is very basic, but it has a small cafe, a driving range, and putting area. Some holes are somewhat close to a street, but overall, a good choice.

This trail is paved and used by both pedestrians and cyclists alike. Very peaceful and relaxing to walk along this trail. Covered most of the way but there are some areas where you are not under the trees so bring some sunscreen
I need to get back there again and do the trail. It's a moderately easy walk.

We stopped in to 22Klicks with family after checking in to a nearby hotel. This is a smallish bar, best known for being made over on an episode of Bar Rescue. The decor is patriotic and military themed- a bit obvious, but this IS the Fort Bragg area... Service is friendly, and servers were quick to make recommendations for drinks and food. Drinks were presented quickly, and were quite good- the atomic fireball was a big hit with our table. The food was the typical garden variety bar food- mostly fried and greasy, but hot and pretty tasty! When we visited, there were groups of people at the 2 pool tables, and there was a karaoke competition that was beginning. The crowd was thin the night that we visited (the night before Thanksgiving), but business seemed to pick up as the weekend wore on. The parking lot is shared with a Holiday Inn Express; it is brightly lit, and not difficult to manage, but could be if the hotel were booked to capacity. 22Klicks was a fun place to while away a couple of hours with family and friends, and we wouldn't hesitate to return when in the area!

Bring snacks and beverages of choice (even wine or beer... and their is a place to buy beer and wine in the same shopping center and a coffee shop next door as well) and spend a couple of hours in a relaxing atmosphere painting along with your instructor.
