Hood River beckons travelers with the scent of orchard blooms and the promise of adventure on the rushing waters of the Columbia River. The winds through the Columbia River Gorge provide the perfect conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing, making the city a hotspot for those sports in recent years. The surrounding area is ripe with orchards growing cherries, apples, peaches and other sweets. Take the Mt. Hood Scenic Railroad through the orchard route and take in the views of Mt. Hood.

Great mid summer evening ride in the Columbia River gorge to dry creek falls! My husband and I had a great private ride this summer with the owner on her lovely horses! My horse Cinder a Missouri fox trot breed has a lovely smooth gait! Very comfy for trail riding. We didn’t pass one person on the PCT Riding to and from the falls! We had the Forrest all to ourselves! The Horses are very well trained and responsive, and well cared for. As we are experienced riders, and she let up ride ahead. We rode with them also last summer 2019 on our anniversary for the mountain panorama ride which is also another very good ride! The nice thing about this outfitter is that they will match you To the appropriate horse based on your riding experience and Taylor the ride to your ability which means they can offer something for riders of all levels. Can’t wait until they open back up for next Season!

Our family farm brings you some of the best fruit from the Hood River Valley. Sample different produce and fruit in season and try our jams, and always...shop with a smile! Fruitloop #6.
We stopped at on our way out of Hood River. It's a very open and inviting place to visit, spend some time in the nice outdoor seating areas, peruse the shopping areas for great snacks and treats. They have a good selection of apples, pears and other seasonal produce plus jams, jellies, salad dressings, etc One of the best stops on the Fruit Loop, and I highly recommend.

All natural Lavender farm in the beautiful Hood River Valley of Oregon that not only grows acres of lavender, we also steam distill our lavender to produce pure Lavender essential oil. We manufacture our own Bath & Beauty, Culinary Lavender & More.
There's nothing better than visiting lavender season and going to lavender festivals. This place and the view does not disappoint.

Our own wines and hard ciders, regional wines, NW craft beers, u-pick and we-pick fruit, u-cut flowers, fresh food cart, stellar double mountain views on a historic homesite on a century old working farm.
Stopped in to enjoy a cool raspberry hard cider and gourmet hamburger after a day of exploring the surrounding area. It is a beautiful farm with something for everyone.

I never realized how beautiful symmetrical rows of blooming lavender could be. Stunning purples pleasing the eye and sweet smells filling the air, all with spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Hood as the backdrop. We purchased a bouquet for $12 and found both the staff and the establishment to be top notch. I highly recommend a visit to Lavender Valley while on the Fruit Loop, or as a single stop destination on the way to or from Hood River and Timberline Lodge!
