What to do and see in Honolulu, Hawaii (HI): The Best Yoga & Pilates

December 4, 2021 Terina Blouin

The mere mention of Hawaii is enough to prompt visions of grass skirts and colorful cocktails with tiny umbrellas. While you will find some kitsch in Honolulu, you’ll also find art museums, bike paths, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Popular Waikiki Beach has soft sands and great surf. For majestic Oahu views scramble to the top of Diamond Head – a 350-acre volcanic crater. Historic structures like Iolani Palace and Ali'iolani Hale are worth a visit on a non-beach day.

I was fortunate enough to find this fantastic movement modality studio, my favorite class was with the hula dance with Malia. I also very much enjoyed Nia with Renee. I felt a sense of dedication and passion along with a high level of professionalism from the instructions at Still and Moving, I wanted to try the Ariel Yoga so I will be back

This is the activity which I am most looking forward to every-time I visit Waikiki, Hawaii. When practicing yoga while watching the sunset going down the horizon in the beautiful Kapiolani Park... It is truly a Healing & Magical Experience. Teachers are well trained and they always guide me in a way challenging or relaxing depends on how I feel for the day. I highly recommend every-one!

Fun and affordable! Exciting and relaxing! Learn how to SUP and yoga! I loved taking this class. We start our class with a quick intro to paddle boarding and cross a stretch of ocean to get to a peaceful canal full of trees. There is a lovely peaceful breeze when we arrive at our spot. We used weights to keep our board in place and begin the yoga class. Being a novice and a little scared of yoga on a paddle board, our instructor showed me modifications to each move. But let me tell you it was still a workout. My core was engaged the whole time. I can't wait to go back and take more friends! But my favorite part? Our instructor takes photos with her go pro so you can enjoy yourself and live in the moment while simultaneously having the moment captured!
