NI Silver Jewellery making workshops are fun, relaxing and no experience is required. We are only a 10 minute drive, taxi or train journey from the centre of Belfast, in the beautiful Holywood Hills overlooking Belfast Lough. Have a Craft Experience Day by yourself or with up to 4 friends. Prior booking is necessary to ensure you can come and make your own piece of Northern Irish Jewellery.
As a family we decided we wanted to make jigsaw puzzle necklaces that all fit together, they turned out beautifully! It now has such sentimental value and I’ll wear my necklace everyday. Would 100% recommend this workshop as a relaxing activity or birthday treat. Ruth is also so welcoming and helpful. Fab morning :)

The Ulster Transport Museum is part of National Museums NI. Explore one of the most comprehensive transport collections in Europe. You’ll find majestic locomotives, horse-drawn carriages, vintage motorbikes & cars.
I remember being here as a kid with my father and loving it and I wanted my kids to know all about the history of transport- it wasn’t always segways and microscooters. We had fun and maintained our distance from the others who were visiting. Disappointed that the air section was closed but understand why- it’s impossible to distance there. Great, fun day out and excellent value for money!

Explore thatched cottages, farms, schools and shops as you experience life from over 100 years ago. Chat to costumed visitor guides as they demonstrate traditional crafts and meet farm animals in the beautiful parkland of the Ulster Folk Museum.
There are 2 museums, the transportation and the folk. The Folk museum is incredible - a rebuilt Irish village with surrounding farmland, walking trails, farm animals, and old homes from the last 200+ years moved there to preserve their style and memory. Great for kids, or just to get out in the country. Nice restaurant in the village, and live "characters" in period dress describe the history and make it come alive. Everyone was great, parking was easy, and just 15 Min from downtown. This was our favorite stop in Northern Ireland!

I received a surprise spa day from my step daughter with 2 treatments included. From Niamh at the reception desk who was so welcoming & lovely &showed us around & explained the facilities & to the other staff on who were lovely. The spa was brilliant so clean & relaxing & before our treatments we spent a relaxing time using the jacuzzi, pool & steam room . We ordered a coffee & a lovely muffin just out of the oven ... yummy. The girl doing my treatment was called Judith .... she was the lovliest girl & so professional & fantastic throughout my 2 treatments. I felt so relaxed & chilled after both treatments & Judith took me back to the amazing relaxation room & brought me a glass of water. I would recommend this spa day at the Culloden & you might be lucky enough like I was to get Judith doing your treatments.
