**Planned Disruption** JUNE 2019 major building work is now taking place at the Visitor Centre. Please email or call for more information. Overlooking the Irish Sea RSPB South Stack Cliffs is a heathland paradise waiting to be explored. Wind your way along the dramatic trails and take in the expansive views across Anglesey. There are great views of South Stack Lighthouse from Ellin's Tower. In spring and summer, marvel at the spectacular wildflower carpet covering the clifftops and seek out the rare spathulate fleawort, which grows nowhere else on earth! Carefully and quietly explore the edges of the heather and you might see lizards or even an adder. Visit Ellin's Tower for great views of the seabird city in spring and its puffins, guillemots and razorbills. Try to spot porpoise, dolphins and seals out to sea.
South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve is home to breathtaking views, plenty of seabirds (of course!) and South Stack Lighthouse itself. As you have to pay to go into the lighthouse we stuck to just exploring the cliffs and taking our turn at birdwatching. The highlight of our visit was definitely getting the chance to spot some puffins!

Located in Holyhead, Anglesey, the Empire Cinema is owned and run by Holyhead Town Council. Recently refurbished, it shows all the latest films in a new, modern, comfortable environment.
We recently booked tickets to go and watch the new mama mia here we go again film and much to our delight found that the seats were some of the most comfortable and roomy in a cinema that I have ever sat in. The seats were so situated that no one had a problem seeing the screen as they hadn't over crammed them in like the modern multi screens do. It made us feel valued and the staff were very pleasant too. I would recommend to anyone to go here, if they are showing a film your interested in as we will regularly check what's on and return ourselves at the earliest possible opportunity.

It’s a long time since I’ve been on a proper ferry crossing. It was easy to book and given we have a baby the most cost effect way to travel to Ireland with all the stuff you need. We were created by very polite and happy staff when we arrived in Holyhead even though it was freezing and quite windy. The ferry itself was clean and had loads of good facilities for everyone. All in all we were really impressed with the service by Stena Line
