The St George Shipwreck Museum tells the story of the dramatic shipwrecks off the coast of West Jutland and the people’s encounters with seamen from all over the world. Severe storms, mist and sea fog, unpredictable ocean currents, changeable depths and no islands to offer shelter have led to thousands of shipwrecks along the West Coast. Embark on a journey in a world full of dramas, tragedies, love and heroism. Children have free admission to the Museum, which also houses an outdoor maritime playground and its own cafe and restaurant. We look forward to seeing you.

Open every Sunday in odd weeks until the 28th of Feb from 10-4. VW & Retro Museum is a privately owned museum with an impressive collection of old Volkswagens, unique trailers, moped bikes and retro items which match the car's timeline from the early '50s and until the late '70s. The museum collection includes a unique 1963 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper, which has won countless awards at exhibitions around Europe. At the museum, you can experience several different retro exhibitions with household items, grandmother's living room, grandfather's office, an old grocery store and older toys. In addition to the cars, you can also experience the museum's two-wheeled exhibition with old moped bikes and bicycles. By April 2019, the museum will be over 2000m2 and will display several new exhibitions in beautiful nostalgic surroundings. End the time travel by enjoying your picnic basket in the museum's cozy cafe area, which of course is also filled with plenty of nostalgia and retro pieces.
