Sit,relax, dance, chat,in the rustic setting at 1627 Bar& Lounge. We serve all types of drinks, however,we specialise in rum-base drinks as the word rum came from Barbados. 1627 was named for the year the first settlers to the island arrived in Barbados and they landed in Holetown. The cocktail menu was created for the 1627 Bar and Lounge by award-winning International Bar Chef:Jamaal Bowen.Enjoy.
We absolutely love this bar and went here regularly during our 3 week stay in Holetown The bar is run by the lovely GG, Rick and Danny who are so welcoming and friendly They have a wide range of drinks & cocktails which are excellent. My new favourite is their Rum Sour The atmosphere is great with fantastic guest musicians and we met fun people every night we were there Can’t wait to come back ????

Inspired by the ocean, Drift, Ocean Terrace Lounge, overlooks the beautiful west coast of Barbados. Exuding sophistication and comfort in a seductive setting Drift welcomes those looking to enjoy a drink in the ideal atmosphere to unwind or celebrate. Whether it’s a date, a get-together or a corporate event Drift is the perfect place to enjoy in style, meet in comfort, and visit time and time again. Selective with its wines and original with its cocktails Drift has also created a delectable light menu which is both thoughtful and simple. So sit by the ocean, grab a drink and drift till late.
We were based in Dover Beach during our stay but drove up to Holetown to sample the beaches on the west coast. We stopped off here for a cocktail and to watch the sun go down and it was fabulous - a perfect setting in both senses! There is no beach in front of the bar but there is a boardwalk and although we didn't eat there, the restaurant next door, which I think is part of the same place, looked lovely too. Cocktails are not cheap but with the British Pound so low, we found everything to be quite expensive. Definitely worth a visit!

Red Door Lounge is Barbados’ crown jewel in nightlife. Nestled at the heart of Second Street, St James, it’s a regular celebrity and local hotspot known best for its cocktails, friendly staff, great live bands and the best DJs the island has to offer. Its’ opening in 2014 catalyzed a major resurgence in Barbados’ entertainment sector particularly in particular bringing raising local expectations to an international standard. If you are looking for a wild or quiet night out, if you’re looking for live music or great DJs this is the spot without a doubt!
Didn’t disappoint. Great experience most times I pass thru. This Thursday night, though a chill type of night, was exceptional. Will continue to patronize.
