Paraworth Tandem Paragliding

Paraworth Paragliding is a Tandem Paragliding company that flies passengers off the mountain Wallberg at Tegernsee and the mountain Brauneck in Lenggries. We used to fly Neuschwanstein Castle (Tegelberg) as well as but we changed all flights to Lenggries and Tegernsee completely. The flying sites are only 50 km south of Munich and easy to reach by car or train within a one hour drive. These two mountains cover all wind directions and we have a lot fewer cancellations than flying Neuschwanstein exclusive. All our pilots are DHV (the German Paragliding and Hangliding Authority) licensed and insured. Flights last 20-30 minutes depending on weather conditions. Picture and video service is also available. All necessary equipment is provided: Helmet, Flight suit, and Gloves. Passenger weight up to 110 kilos (242 lbs). No experience necessary. Reservations are essential. Safety is the first priority! Booking at Paraworth webpage.

Museum of the Bavarian Kings

Reviewed By PurrPrinThom - Dublin, Ireland

This museum is absolutely worth a visit! It was fairly quiet, as it was at the end of the town by the lake and I believe most people had gone to the castles and bypassed it. It was packed full of fascinating artifacts, beautiful clothes, jewels and paintings and was an unexpected treat!
