You can go here for the annual Fort Stewart Christmas Lights celebration where they put up thousands of lights and decorations and bring out Santa Clause and have a hay Ride and other stuff to do for the kids, or you can go here and play Paint Ball, Hiking, Camping, Group Parties, They have a nice Dog Park, Skeet Target Range, Basketball Courts and a pretty nice Lake in the middle of it all. We always went here for the holiday celebration and unit functions, as well as just to let the kids play at the playground or run around. Every time went here we always had a good time. It is Free too. So you can't beat the price.

We took this charter as a last minute trip. The boat is not luxurious. There is no bathroom( there was one advertised) or other amenities. But, the captain is super nice and knowlegable about fishing. We caught our limit of mangrove and yellow tail snapper. The price is very inexpensive and it's a fun trip I would recommend.

This Golf course is badly located right in the middle of an Army Base and completely open all around. Parking is bad but if you get here early it doesn't matter. Prices are reasonable and the course is easy to follow. Well taken care of greens and none of the holes are excessively hard or difficult to follow. Scoring is pretty easy as all holes are easy to see and follow. Nothing about this course is professional by any means but it is on an Army Base and it is easy to get to, and to play as well. They always have special events here because of the military base and Soldiers so it is very likely that there will be something going on here every day. If in the area check it out for a few holes and relax. you can use a bag or take a cart your choice. they have a driving range on one side and plenty of carts for rentals. Priced reasonably.

This park is the former home of Senator Glenn Bryant and his wife who donated the land for a park so that many people could enjoy it. Since it officially opened to the public on March 7th, 2015, many people have enjoyed the walking path, bathrooms, 150 acre fish pond, the Telephone museum, and the annual Small World Festival. I enjoyed it all again this year but especially liked the festival which included a car show as well as the different dances from different countries this year. Of course it included arts & crafts, food vendors, activities for the children such as face painting and taking pictures with the characters from the movie Frozen. The dancers performed on the outdoor amphitheater. There is a telephone museum on the property which I haven't been to see as of yet but I am excited about them breaking ground on Cisco's Dog Park. The park is also available to rent for weddings and other events. I do wish that there was more than one bathroom and maybe a water fountain.

We took the kids here so much that two of them learned to walk in this place. They have a small toddler area on a carpet with slides and things to climb on. My little ones would start here and learn to walk and as soon as they were walking in the tree house they went. At first my oldest was scared to climb the rope ladder but after a few times she refused to come down. There is three levels of play in this palace. They have soft air, nerf ball guns and slides along with rope obstacles and tunnels. The kids loved this place and always wanted to go here on the weekends. Make sure you check the house though before you arrive because they are open certain days and hours based on the school schedule and holidays. It is on a military base so again it may require a pass from off post and they do have a small fee based on age. It was a fun place.

Like a well kept secret. Some locals had no idea it was there. Too bad, because if you want to get a great history of telephone/telecommunications well displayed and preserved, this is it. Very knowledgeable staff dedicated to telling the story.

We are the destination marketing organization for lovely Liberty County, Georgia. Visit our Welcome Center for informational brochures on area historical & cultural sites, hotels, shopping and dining. We can also assist in arranging tours at our area historical sites.
Although they have a brochure rack, make sure that you ring the bell and get a person to give you the real information. They gave me a newcomers packet, a great map of Liberty County (important to have) and the best advice ever of where to start. #1 Go take a tour of Midway Museum (includes tour of historic church and cemetery nearby) - it gives you a background of the incredible history of this area. #2 Go take a tour of Dorchester Academy and Museum in Midway - it gives you great information of this area's African-American history, told by African-Americans - a must see! #3 self-guided driving tour of Flemington - beautiful historical homes in the area. I loved this area, the local people are friendly and kind.

This course is not perfect fairways and greens. It is fun, affordable and friendly. On weekdays 9-hole is $14 and 18-holes $22. I think weekend $4 more. Kids under 12 play free. Great place to teach your kids. It is a true 18 holes as well, no only 9.
