Harpenden Golf Club, founded in 1894, is a private members club of approximately 800 members. Messrs Frederic G Hawtree and John Henry Taylor were engaged to design and build a challenging 18 hole course in about 150 acres of rolling Hertfordshire countryside. Visitors are welcome during the week and by arrangement at weekends and Bank Holidays.

Was concerned it might be a bit damp today after 24 hours of run but the course was in tip top condition, with all the fairways and greens looking and playing very well. Staff really know how to deliver a perfect corporate hospitality event. The buggies are all seriously connected now and give live feedback of how teams are doing against each other. Sets a new standard for other corporate golf hosts to match.

Our golf course is played on a wonderful mixture of well-manicured common parkland lined with both mature trees and gorse and has been awarded the prestigious National Green Flag.We have a brand new clubhouse opened in 2013 which offers bars and dining facilities.Visitors are welcome at most times subject to availability.
One visit to this lovely club showed me how extraordinarily friendly everyone was. The warmth of the welcome I got left me in no doubt that this was the perfect club for me to join which I did in January 2020 and have loved every minute of it.

Really enjoyed the course. Most holes v well designed, interesting greens and nicely laid out. If being v picky, traffic and train noise could get annoying, but we all said we would be happy to return. Clubhouse and pro shop both good.

We went here last Saturday to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday. It’s a really lovely venue. There was plenty of room and space for a lot of tables. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was really tasty.
