This was a very nice course to play. The club house reminded me of Myrtle Beach. The only thing that I did not like, the course had no spark. No imagination, just a plain vanilla course. They are also in the process of clearing a lot of land to put in housing. It does not interfere with play at all.

At 46 miles in length, the Withlacoochee State Trail is presently one of the the longest paved rail-trails in Florida. With a generally flat terrain and many access points, the trail is an ideal venue for all skill and fitness levels of cycling, running, walking and skating an unpaved equestrian trail parallels portions of the paved trail. The trail corridor traverses three counties (Citrus, Hernando and Pasco), offering an enjoyable, varied journey as it runs through small towns, ranches and six distinct natural communities between Citrus Springs and Dade City. Officially designated as part of the Florida Greenways and Trail System, this State Trail is also a National Recreation Trail® which offers rich opportunities for viewing plants & wildlife and provides access to many other outstanding recreational opportunities.
We have done two half-day rides on the Withlacoochee State Trail and it has opened a whole new area of recreation to us. We have walked the trail on its south end, ridden it south of Floral City and now have ridden north from Inverness...MoreWe are happy that you enjoyed your outing on the Trail. We hope you will visit us again.

This is a small family operated alpaca farm offering periodic tours to the community. They also sell items made by others. The owners are quite friendly and very knowledgeable. Alpacas are quite timid and will normally avoid contact with strangers. It was an interesting and an enjoyable time.

Meadows course OK, Oakes Course very nice. Have been to Grill and Tiki Bar several time after golf, always busy, but most times staff is attentive (except when crowded) Specialty nights are fun, but as a rule not very larger portions. Will try and make up for any mistakes by bring something else...of course this will come after everyone has already eaten!

Nice little nitch in downtown Inverness....rotating displays...the volunteers are so friendly and really knowledgeable about county history. I would highly recommend this as a nice way to introduce friends to Citrus County. I don't know that young children would be very interested in this museum....but adults will enjoy it!!!

Located at the intersection of SR 41 & SR 200, Directly across from Lake Hernando. New To You is full of all your favorite things you remember from your childhood. Vintage, retro, & some antiques but, lots of very unique items. Something for everyone. Decorate your mancave or divacave. Find great gifts. Whatever it is you collect, there is a good chance you will be able to add to your collection.
This store is amazing. I walked around looking at all memories of my childhood. It's not quite antique. I'm not sure how to describe it, but, defiantly not a thrift store! Very well organized. You can see everything, no digging through stuff. The more you look around the more you see. The owners little dog greets you at the door with a happy bark as if to say come on in & check it out. I would say this is Hernando's best kept secret. I have driven by this place every day for years & have not stopped in but today I had a few extra minutes. I wish I would have stopped in long ago. The treasures are awesome. If you are in the area be sure to stop in & check this place out. The views of Lake Hernando across the street are pretty nice also.

We visit Florida every year and always go to the park, pool and splash pad are closed, but kids have a great time at the playground. Looks like it's great for summer use, lots of baseball diamonds, tennis courts etc. Always very clean and well maintained, washrooms on site too.
