Mining on Main Street has come to Hendersonville. This attraction is for all ages! Come pick out you bucket and find wonderful gems and minerals from all over the world. You can find Rubies, Sapphires, Amethyst, Geodes and more! Bring the whole family for a great time. There is also a large gift shop that carries unique gemstone jewelry, Kerusso T-Shirts, and other gem products.
We really enjoyed our first mining experience! My kids (7&9) enjoyed the sleuse and found many large rocks. The site was beautiful with a gorgeous mountain stream on the rear of the property and picnic tables just up the hill. We enjoyed the stream just as much as the mining! The gift shop has numerous geodes on display and reasonably priced. There was also a good selection of jewelry and Christian literature and gifts. I highly recommend this experience for your family.

Axe throwing is similar to a combination of darts and bowling. It is an indoor recreational range set up like a bowling alley with a bullseye target at the end of the lane. The lanes are divided by steel fencing with rubberized floors. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are highly recommended and can be made online through the website. Must be age 13+ to come to the venue and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. Anyone 18+ must have valid ID. Alcohol served at the venue (beer, cider, wine). No experience necessary. Coaching is provided.
Let your preconceptions go... this is so much fun!!!! Take the family or friends and throw some axes. Don’t worry- the coaches will teach you how to do it safely. It’s definitely fun and quite therapeutic too!

I read a lot of reviews about this place before deciding to go. Based on many of those reviews, I got the impression that there wasn’t anything other than a single portapotty and a food truck. Yes, the restrooms are portapotty’s but they are set up on a wood deck with 2 for each gender plus a handicap accessible one. There are also changing rooms available. We went on a Sunday and expected a busier crowd. We were told a 2 hour wait which was only 1 hour. You pay $30 for 2 hours. There are 3 lanes for tubing. You have the option to walk up to the top and pull your own tube or use the lift. The lift has a longer line but worth the wait. You can go down as a single or link up with friends and family. We saw as many as 6 tubes going down together. This is a CASH ONLY establishment but they do have an on-site ATM. The staff was friendly and their was a fire going outside and hot chocolate for purchase. The two adults and two teens in our group enjoyed it and we will be back!
