Helen, a Bavarian Alps replica town in Appalachian Georgia, is home to an Oktoberfest for the ages, overflowing with two-liter beer glasses and Germany's famous bratwursts. To recover from the festivities, the savviest make their way to Cedar Creek Luxury Cabins on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Habersham Winery has been producing award winning Georgia wines since 1983 and is one of Georgia's oldest and largest wineries.
I highly suggest making a stop here if you enjoy great wine, great people and great atmosphere. The charming staff and tasty wines keep us coming back.

This is a satellite tasting room in Helen for Sweet Acre Farms Winery (home winery is located in Alto, Ga). We are a family owned winery specializing in the best fruit wine in the state! We also offer cold, local craft beer on tap. Come enjoy tastings, flights, wine slushies and beer. Pick your favorites and get a glass, bottle or even a case!
Lovely little wine tasting bar with great staff, Barbara was extremely knowledgeable on all the wines as well as friendly and entertaining. Felt like we were visiting a friends house! I'm not usually a sweet wine drinker but wanted to try something different, the lemon wines and "bramblin sam" were surprisingly delicious, we even bought a few bottles to take back home. Great location, it's right in the middle of town in walking distance to pretty much everything. If I'm ever in Helen,GA again, will definitely go back.

The wine tasting is great! We ended up with a bottle of blueberry. I have to say Ruby was amazing and so helpful. This is a definite place to stop.
