I’ve been visiting Bennett’s on and off for 22 years. It is a wonderful beach with a great outlook to Yacaba Headland to the South, John Gould Island straight out and Broughton Island to the North. The sand is lovely and soft. In summer it can get busy, but it is well patrolled and there is always a spot for a towel. I’ve had some great body-surfs - but it is always dependent on the conditions. There’s car-parking right behind the beach.

We enjoyed a relaxed swim in calm waters at Jimmy’s Beach. What a lovely place with spectacular views. I love swimming and doing laps so it was perfect for me. There were lots of families with small children.

Definitely enjoyed our ride and stroll along the designated paths...the open beaches, sand dunes and interesting fauna is a real must for those who want to feel close to nature. Great sunset spots!!

We had visited the Southern Head to Port Stephens (Tomaree Head) so wanted to visit the North Head. So glad we did, a great view, a beautiful walk along the beach. It is a bit of a hike but the sand dunes, and view back across to Nelson and Shoal Bay. There is a car park (about 500 meters unpaved road) which then leads to a beach hike to the Mountain, then the hike up. One side of the Spit is obviously the Ocean with great waves, and the other side the Bay side overlooking Shoal Bay etc. 4WD enthusiasts love the area, and with good reason, the beach is almost endless and the waves incredible. Great place to visit and free, so you can't complain about the cost.

This course was a pleasure to play, flat, easy walking and great serenity. The clubhouse has recently undergone a facelift with new carpet, a paint job and a new cafe. The Sun Bistro offers quality Chinese & Thai cuisine which was delicious! By far the best club in the area and most spacious! Well worth a visit
