The day after our arrival in Kauai, we had the most amazing experience of our trip....a doors off helicopter tour of Kauai with Guy! Check in was easy with Ingrid, who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Guy was friendly and professional, putting any fears at ease before we could even vocalize them. The photos we captured are incredible, Guy provided us with great history and information about the island and we felt very safe and comfortable on this exciting trip. Well worth it, highly recommend to anyone interested in really seeing Kauai!!

We went on a snorkel trip out to the volcano crater island and to various spots on the south shore. We saw turtles! Our crew was fantastic and very informative. Our group had a great time. They were very good about following the COVID mask rules. I will definitely go out with them again

Snorkel by 20 to 200 wild dolphins! We have a RIB Zodiac Speed Boat that takes up to 14 guests max, no massive crowds on a fun adventurous ride! This boat makes it possible for everyone to slide off at once to ensure you will see dolphins unlike the big boats with massive amounts of people slowly getting off one at a time and miss the dolphins swimming by! This dolphin boat adventure is only for the guest that is up for an extreme adrenaline speed boat adventure, this is not a slow cruise boat. Our boat is made for moving faster than other boats to get the best views of dolphins before they are gone. The boat is very low to the water which gives you a better up-close view. This dolphin snorkel is up close and personal this is not a big tourist boat crammed up with 30 to 100 people! Snacks, drinks & gear are free. Tour time is NOT EXACT (2-4 hours) why? How far the wild dolphins that day, weather conditions, how long you snorkel, ETC. If no dolphins, come again FREE!
Inclusions: Use of Snorkelling equipment, Snacks, Bottled water

Definitely was one of the best experiences with a tour guide we’ve had on this island. When I say they wasn’t ONE DULL moment with chad I mean that. If your up for gnarly speed boating and fast paced movement he is the guy. Also gave us pretty much as much time we needed to snorkel it’s was again beyond amazing !

Last month we went on a private charter with Ultimate. This is not the first time that we have used them and certainly won't be the last. We had booked a Whale Watching tour, but decided to switch to a private charter as we were there to spread some ashes and wanted to have the time to ourselves. Toni quickly changed our reservation and accommodated our request. We met Peter at the harbor and we took off. Peter was awesome! He took us way out in the ocean to a beautiful spot to spread the ashes. He did a video for us and sent us a screen shot of the exact spot that we placed the ashes. He also shared traditions with us about sea burials and performed those for us. We would never have known those details and really appreciated being able to perform this ritual in the correct way. After that we took off and went whale watching. We saw a ton of whales and their babies. Peter was so informative. We learned so much about them. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. This trip just exceeded the last trip that we took with them. We would highly recommend Ultimate for anything that they offer.

We went on the night manta ray snorkel and it was a bucket list experience for sure! Before going I was a bit nervous about jumping in the ocean at night-but the crew made us super comfortable and I felt well taken care of. The water was surprisingly warm and 45 minutes in the water was up in the blink of an eye. Do not hesitate! We also loved that it was a super short boat ride to where the rays were.

My wife and I had the most amazing time on this tour with our two wonderful guides. Right out of the harbor we saw humpback whales and later in the trip we snorkeled on a reef with giant sea turtles and beautiful fish. The most amazing part of the trip was when got the chance to swim in the open ocean with wild dolphins! The tour guides were so knowledgeable and were able to put both us and the dolphins in close while also respecting the animals. It was so amazing to swim with these animals in their natural habitat and much more rewarding than the standard "dolphin experience" that takes place in a small pool or enclosure. I highly recommend this tour if you are ever in Oahu, and I know that I will be taking this tour ever single time I visit!

Drawing on years of experience, our captains and crew will take you up close and personal with the dolphin. As we search for these beautiful creatures in the warm tropical waters off the coast, our crew will share their knowledge about these fascinating creatures, how they live and their role in the ocean’s ecosystem. Nearly every day, year-round we are able to encounter these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. We have 98% success rate of locating the dolphins and letting them "choose" whether to swim with us or not. However the utmost respect and care are given to our aquatic friends to assure that we do not disrupt their rest, nursing and breeding behaviors. When they do choose to swim with us, it is truly magical and can be a life changing experience.
Inclusions: Naturalist guides, Snacks, fruit, juice and bottled water, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Flotation Aids included
Exclusions: Gratuities, Please bring towel and cover-up, Use reef safe sunscreen only (zinc based recommended-no oxybenzone or octinoxate, lotion, NO spray)
If you are looking for what feels like a private charter (as opposed to a big four story catamaran with 50 people in it) then Dolphin Discoveries is your outfit. You may balk at such an early start (7:30 check-in) but you're rewarded when you get to your destination with hardly a crowd... well, until that huge cat arrives. The early bird certainly gets the worm. As a family, it is tradition to snorkel at our favorite two spots in all of Hawaii (maybe even the whole world) ...Capt Cook's Cove (Kealakekua Bay) and Place of Refuge (Honaunau Bay or Two-Step). And to go there, we always use DD and here's why? It always feels like family with them. Captains and crew are always accommodating, professional, courteous and fun! And today's trip with Landon was no different. Even saw a few dolphins while at Cook's Cove.

Part of the reason Maui has been so popular year after year is due to the breathtaking sunsets. Sure you could just watch from the beach or your hotel lanai, but a front row seat out on the water, sipping some cocktails, enjoying some awesome pupus (appetizers) and hanging with fun people sounds more appealing. Whale watching is included from Dec 15th - April 15th!
Inclusions: All taxes, fees and handling charges, Non-alcoholic Beverages, Snacks, Unlimited alcohol drinks (open bar), Validated parking for up to 3 hours, Alcoholic Beverages, Whale Watching (Dec 15th - April 15th)
Exclusions: Gratuities, Hotel pickup and drop-off
What a wonderful day. Phil, James and Quinn were an awesome team making sure everyone was having a nice time. We motored to the snorkeling spot and were able to sail back. Lots of fish and a couple of turtles ????

There are so many things to see and activities to choose from here on this paradise that is Maui. If you are fortunate enough to be here during the Winter months, a whale watching tour is a must! Whale watch trips come in many shapes and sizes. If you prefer to avoid the crowds, we are your guy. Our Ocean rafts take around 16 people for a full two hours devoted to watching the majestic humpbacks that call Maui home in the Winter months. Our two morning tours are perfect if you plan to grab lunch on Historic Front Street. Our afternoon trips are great if you plan to catch a sunset dinner by the beach. Our rafts are quick and allow us to spend less time travelling and more time whale watching. Many guests enjoy riding on the pontoons (like a horse) as we travel (super fun). Just bring yourself, sunscreen and your camera. There is plenty of parking nearby, all you have to do is hop aboard and let us take you to the best whale watching spot in the islands.
Inclusions: Bottled water
Exclusions: BYOB ( Plastic or cans only)
