My daughter and I spent 3 days riding here (I'm 58, she's 30) and would encourage anyone who likes horses to go for this experience. This team are so well organised and professional that whatever your level of ability and experience they'll have you enjoying yourself and building your confidence. (Group rides are split down to assist with this, and a myriad of support riders means you get lots of support if you need it, and great company if you don't (Ang, Lynn and Jess you were stars - thank you!).) The beach rides are truly fantastic - you won't be disappointed. We were really impressed and hope to return. Local accommodation in the lovely Glebe House - and cracking breakfasts - made it all very relaxing, and as an added bonus, every local eatery we tried for dinner was excellent (especially The Haven).

Loved this - what a fun day for all ages.... My daughter and I spent about 4 hours decorating and also throwing some pots. Paul, the owner, is great and on hand if you have any questions and we ended up with 4 new pots - definitely the highlight of our holiday this year.

Located along the bluebell walk at picton castle the welsh owl garden houses a large selection of owls, with daily flying displays and intractive sessions it is a great day out for all the family.
We had our son’s 8th birthday party in the Welsh Owl Garden, and what a truly wonderful experience it was for adults and children alike. We were given use of the large tent for the day which provided ample space for everyone, including food and drink for the kids. Ian and his colleague were simply fantastic. We had a good hour with them bringing different animals and snakes into the tent. They were extremely knowledgable and informative and everyone thoroughly enjoyed handling the various creatures. My son was in heaven being able to hold and learn about three different snakes. Even the reluctant children got involved, which was great as they will hopefully take this experience away with them and remember that snakes are fascinating creatures and to be respected, not feared. Einstein the bird was hilarious, as was the skunk. It was a fabulous experience, educational for everyone and a great place to have a children’s party. The staff at the Owl Garden are dedicated and are clearly expanding, homing different creatures and providing them with a truly lovely environment in which to live. We had full access to the Owl Garden (such beautiful creatures) and the grounds of Picton Castle which allowed the children to run around in the great outdoors, something which they all loved. Not an iPad in sight! Highly recommended for a children’s party with a difference, or just a great day out.
