Haslett is an unincorporated community in Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) used for statistical purposes. The population was 19,220 at the 2010 census, up from 11,283 at the 2000 census, when the CDP had one-half the area that it did in 2010. Though it has its own school district and post office (ZIP code 48840), Haslett is administered by Meridian Charter Township as the local government unit. Downtown Haslett is located near the intersection of Haslett and Marsh roads.

What an enjoyable time. With everything that is going on it was nice to visit with friend for wine tasting at this remarkable little gem. The landscaping was beautiful, the service was great, and the wine was exquisite! We sampled with cheeses and jam but it was so incredibly good! This winery will not disappoint especially if you're a wine lover or are interested in Michigan wines!

Lake Lansing Park South has a sandy beach, concession stand, restrooms, and shade trees. Wade or swim in the lake, fish from the pier, rent a paddle boat, or just relax on the lawn. There is a playground for children and a big wheel track, too! Sea gulls and geese visit and there are fish in the lake. You might even see a frog in the spring puddles. There are also plenty of spots for a picnic. The band shell is host to music events in the summer. It is one of my favorite places to take the grandchildren.
